My fiddle has always been tapping and 2 seconds into the video I said "holy shit this guy is good" only to realize he's a drummer 😂 makes sense

I don't know what I was really expecting but it certainly wasn't absolute bops occasionally inturrepted by excellent fast tapping

So glad to finally see a setting and breaking the pattern video that actually has a clear pattern to follow. I’ve seen many people try it and it’s unsatisfying when it’s not done well, this is really relaxing you do it perfectly so thank you.

I subscribed a while ago but I still cant get over how good of an idea this is; a drummer doing asmr. Of course drumbeats and different rhythms are gonna sound good in asmr. You deserve more subs, keep it up

This is an instant classic. Been waiting for someone to take the "setting and breaking the pattern" concept and do it right. Makes sense for it to be a drummer. You're playing is awesome and I haven't even heard you on the kit lol very musical

Swapping rhythms while maintaining tempo without a metronome (I’m assuming you’re not using one) is actually impressive and makes it easier to get tingles. Bravo, this is some good shit.

@@a-drummer-does-asmr That's super impressive! I'm a trumpet player in high school right now, and from what I can tell, you only lose your pace when going from the rapid tapping back to regular tapping. Shits impressive.

it’s a little after 3 AM here, been lying in bed for over an hour trying to sleep and I just discovered this channel. very glad I did because the rhythmic tapping is so relaxing. I especially love the muted tapping sounds on this blue drum pad

i love this style of asmr so much. sometimes whispering in asmr feels too loud but without it, its too quiet. a drumbeat like this is not too loud while also being something to focus on as i doze off. its the perfect in between, kinda like sticking ur leg out of ur blanket when its a lil too hot 😂

this is really relaxing, especially for someone who has ruminating thoughts before bed. the rythms let me focus on something that isn't super intrusive or overstimulating (ex. white noise). You've certainly found a great way of implementing a hobby into ASMR. wonderful content ❤

This reminds me of the W Magazine ASMR interview with Rosalia where she was tapping on a wooden board. It was so tingly but sadly very brief. And here I finally found a longer version! As an ex-dancer, I really appreciate the beat here. Thank you for this ❤

As someone who both loves asmr and has been drumming for like 6 years, that video is heaven! Always wished for something like this! Rhythmic sounds are just sooo satisfying to me :)

I usually don't find tapping that tingly or soothing but this is another level hot damn, love it.
