Hey! I had an ovarian cyst that was 7 x 9 cm (which is pretty huge). Had it removed via a laparoscopy and my ovary was left almost intact. So please, don't worry in advance - I know it's scary, but it can be easily resolved with no to little consequences! ❤️

I dont know but i really like the session where you do a temperature check. Its really satisfying

I have an ugly purple scar from nexplanon. It began to push itself out, got infected, and would pinch a nerve as my arm brushed against my body, causing a sharp sting, followed by a burning sensation. I sometimes could also feel a "pop" as it shifted inside my arm. After a round of antibiotics, I told my OB that I don't even wanna try having it replaced. I was fed up with it, and it had only been a month and a half. It has been over a year since removal, and I still get burning pain in that spot sometimes, and I'm afraid of it being touched.

Mine still hurts too! I have nerve damage three years after having mine removed 😵‍💫 if I move my arm a certain way or bump the scar I get this awful sharp pain down my whole arm

Ty for the wonderful video as always!!! 🥰 I’m due to get my nexplanon out next year, buuut as somebody who gets hit with the month + long periods with it I think I’m gonna have it removed sooner 🙃

Good luck, I just stopped bleeding last month after 10 months of constant bleeding/spotting 😭 I hope it doesn't come back, right now it's perfect

My nexplanon was being real difficult during removal 🥴 my doc was fishing in my arm trying to get it out. She even said “it’s like grabbing a fish! It just keeps slipping away!” And kept apologizing. I told her “it’s either this pain or childbirth, and I’ll take this pain as long as I have to. I’m on my second round, year 5. Last time i had the most irregular periods lol sometimes twice a month, then skip a month. Now I have phantom periods 🎉no cramp or blood but my body still goes through the motions of “period”.

that’s how my removal went as well! at first i thought it was bc i had a student doing it but my actual doc was like this happens all the time! i’ve had mine out for a couple months and i still have phantom periods here and there!

Got mine removed and replaced about a month ago ! Don’t worry ! It was completely painless and healed really well 😊
