Best time in primary school was a head lice out break. Our nit lady had long finger nails. She Was a smoker so she always had breath mints in that was way over powering and blind as a bat so took her 5/10 minutes to check your head. Absolute bliss.

Its usually my friends who finds out the other has lice and they'd send them to the office and send them home 😭

We only did scalp checks in like the 4th year. We kept our clothes on. In grade 7 and 8 we did scoliosis checks and did remove our shirt very sketchy. Just two random adults in a room with a shirtless minor

​@claudiakay5568 We did that also and I'll never forget. I had to take my shirt off in my classroom with my pe teacher and all the other girls in my class. Pe teacher was female but it was so bizarre. My kids doctors can check them for that not a teacher.

i also like the gloves you’re using. the latex blue seem like they are dry and drag a little. i know not everyone is for gloves but i am and i like knowing they aren’t pulling hairs or skin

I loved the nit nurse coming in junior school alas her soft lovely touch only lasted about a minute . I wanted to just be there forever .

Just laid in bed with fresh sheets ready to snooze and this is the first thing I see. Couldn’t be more excited! Can’t wait until I’m financially able to re sub to the patreon. Also - I love the curly hair and color! I had head lice in elementary school when we had an outbreak and my word it was awful.

LIce check is for sure a marmite ASMR trigger. For those who hate it I totally understand - after all who wants to enjoy creepy critters on your scalp. However for those who love it (as in ME!) I totally get it. Someone giving you 100% attention whilst “playing” with your hair. Plus there’s the whole nostalgic angle - oh great video btw 👍🏻

I think it's funny this part as a kid was calming but the rest of having lice was miserable and incredibly stressful. I'd know I'd be dealing with my favorite teddy bear being in a bag for a week and doing deep cleans
