I used to know someone who dabbled in acupressure but she didn't usually didn't incorporate massage elements into it (she just pushed on the points) and often chose to treat symptoms rather than the whole area or the whole body. This looks like it's a far more useful treatment.

Have you tried some careful stretch exercises in water? this can help! Also sometimes back and butt massage with massage balls and massage rollers help for some forms of sciatica. Good luck! Do watch some physiotherapist videos or even better consult some to see how you can improve. Maybe you already do.
