ASMR Rug Tufting | Nintendo64 Rug (Start To Finish)
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
No music, no talking, just making a Nintendo64 Rug from start to finish!
My 8th rug tufting video - This one felt faster to tuft that previous rugs, probably due to its simplistic design and straight edges. Carving between the colours felt easier too which was probably because there was no curves to work with! Making this rug really highlighted to me the importance of taking time to get the correct shade of yarn, I felt I was pretty close with what I bought - but just something to keep in mind when working with specific designs!
What should I tuft next?

Once again you're absolutely ruggin it
ボンドを塗る音からのハサミ音がとても良い🥰
I've learned that when you're tufting with different colors and still want those nice crisp lines when working with lots of curves etc. the best way to do it is to trim the yarn (while on canvas) before you do the color next to it! that way when you go to trim at the end, its just minor clean up rather than having to separate the colors and mess with it to make it look clean. great work! looking forward to more videos :)
He did it. So dope.
Straight rugging it, just like the old days. You tell em
I can watch these videos all day
So many satisfying sounds, and the end result looks so good! I also can appreciate just how many different shots you take while doing one task, it takes a lot of reframing and patience. Keep up the videos!
been wanting to get into tufting and was really great to see your whole process. thanks for sharing!
It looks really good

Thank you! :)
Very nice! I also noticed some of the colors felt a little off - especially the green which in my head was always a bit more vibrant - but the end product looked great regardless! As some people have mentioned it would be a fun idea to do something Zelda related since the new Zelda game just came out. The Hylian Shield is a good one though complicated. There is also Majora's Mask, the Triforce, the more standard logo with the golden wings and triforce, or the Sheikah symbol. Any of these would be neat to see, though some would be more difficult than others I'd imagine.
Thats so cool
Now I'm just imagining the GameCube logo except the whole video is synced to an excessively long version of the little intro song
Amazing Matt, pls make a zelda rug next for the new game, Tears of the Kingdom :)

Thanks! Your rugs looks great keep it up 👊
😎👍
very good work, where can i buy the yarn you use ? 😎
So I have a question. If the yarn comes out of the roll so easily, why would you re-spool it into another roll?
Cool video and amazing work! Im wondering where did you get the the flat, clear piece that connects to your shaving tool?

It came with the shaving tool! You can probably buy them spare on Amazon / etsy / ebay :)
Hi Matt! Been watching your stuff for a few months now, really fascinating stuff! I have some questions: What type of wool are you using, it looks like acrylic? Did you move into a new space? What 's the black backing fabric you used? Thanks for posting these videos, I love them and always look forward to seeing more!

Thanks for the kind words! Yes I'm pretty sure its acrylic, the backing fabric is black felt and yes I moved into a more permanent space for my rug making! Doing it up bit by bit but feel like the space is going in the right direction :) Thanks for the comment!
how many yarn did you spend to make it?
Which type of yarn are you using?
I am interested in the project, and I have bought everything I need. The problem is in the adhesive material. Is it possible that there is an alternative? Can I make it at home? Give me the recipe. Thank you. Thank you very much.
Great video and awesome rug. Does the process make your arms sore?
