I worked in an upholstery shop for many years. The cotton rolls we used to pad furniture would come wrapped in brown paper like this. Our seamstress would use this paper when it was removed from the cotton to trace cushion patterns etc. to use as templates. I remember when she would start handling, tracing & cutting it the sounds similar to your video would always trigger this beautiful relaxed feeling. This was 20 years ago, before I had ever heard of asmr.

Yes. I miss working at the old upholstery shop. It was in an old part of town on “the wrong side of the tracks”. The shop has been there since the 40’s. We always put out quality work and always had more work than we could handle. It was/is a small mom & pop shop. We had our regulars and there were always interesting characters that lived in the neighborhood dropping by.

One of the very FIRSTASMR triggers I remember as a child, that I still have yet to find on KZread was an office worker pulling out a long file drawer and picking through the files. Thank you...I have seen people cut these apart and use these envelopes as a journal covers...they cover them with paper or fabric and they keep their crinkle when you go through them. Would be fun to try....

What you said about bamboo toiletries i agree with you being extremly environmentaly friendly there is even clothing made from it now i know there is an australian mens boxer brief company that promotes bamboo underwear for the breathilibility and wear Also good to know aboit the laundry detergent in sheet form as i use big plastic bottles and like you said its a massive waste people have been refining plastics into fuel for cars and using it as tarmac due to its stability in not cracking with weather making potholes a lot less common but clothing is also made from plastics incredible huh Those mailers with the cotton bubble wrap subsitute is a very good idea i have seen ones with fibre filler looks sort of like wall insulation smells very musty I hope you do more vids like the junk journal and lots of crafty ideas you do them really well

@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction so do i rebecca bit what puts people off is the price in most cases i think it should be reversed like they have done with the sugur tax here on fizzy pop they should charge more for excess packing of plastic and encorage those with enviromental concern who use genious ideas like washing detergent in a sheet the goverment to subsidise the cost so the consumer gets it at a very low price but the manufacturer still gets the asking price win win all round considering how much the goverment spends on recycling and most of it goes to other countrys like asia for processing because there is either to much or they are unable to deal with it

Do some research about the TP made from bamboo. I was all for trying it until I read horror story reviews about it clogging/cracking sewer pipes and septic lines bc the sheets of tp expand in water and do not break down quickly as advertised. I cannot say this for all brands but definitely look into what you are flushing down your drains.

I find that to be very flattering! Thank you so much. Yes. They are voice overs. I am simply reenacting the thoughts & feelings I had while making the original video. So my voice overs are pretty genuine. Every once in a while my timing will be off but I try to fix those or adjust them. It’s quite fun to be a tiny bit of an actress. 😁❤️❤️❤️

This is a good channel to watch to find out how to succeed on KZread.kzread.info Otherwise, I would say that you should continue to do what you love and create the sounds that you like the most. But always be looking for ways to improve. Imitate the people that you like the most. Learn how to make a very cool looking stage. That’s all I’ve got. Good luck!

Beware the claimed environmental benefits of bamboo. Easy to grow but it's a thirsty plant and takes much more water to process than wood.
