Thank you! It was fun. Having these gadgets around the house was naturally occurring except for the Rolodex. I had to go searching for that one and it wasn’t easy. 😂

I love every single thing about your office set-up! I love real typewriters and old-school, metal fans, a legit phone book, and rotary phones! And a Rolodex thingy! I just love everything about it.

I'd never have thought of this, but it's wonderful. The vintage office is gorgeous and just looking at it is soothing. I always wanted a red phone like that when I was young. But they'd gone cordless by the time I was old enough to get my own. Thanks for your excellent work!

When I was a kid in the library I would hear the sounds of the pages and it made me tingle and I thought it was something like maybe meditation but I have never meditated and I noticed that phenomenon but I don’t think anybody had a term for it back then and I just happened to see your posting somehow and if there a whole cottage industry for this phenomenon and it’s amazing.

My dad had a computer in the 70s. It was a brand new concept and he was completely enamored with it. I don’t think there was much Internet though at the time.

Many of my videos have a retro feeling. I guess you’ll just have to go through my playlists to find them. Off the top of my head, shucking corn and snapping green beans is one. Room tour is another. Just what I was looking for. You even have a nice, heavy vintage phone and a rolodex. I was also looking for a banking video with all the equipment you have, but 1980s design, and nice, heavy paper sounds...all done by someone wearing big 1980s bifocals.

It is not a real mailing. Since it was a request I had to come up with a pretend scenario. I don’t have any business associates that I could actually send a memo out to. Therefore I used one cent stamps. Can you imagine how much this would cost in real life? LOL! Very good question though Vivian. Thanks for asking. Most of my videos are authentic but every now and then a request is beyond my capacity to make something genuine out of.

Rena, I am not taking requests until after Christmas. The best way to make a request is to comment under any video anywhere just as you have done right here. Simply explain or state what you want. My name is Rebecca and I read all of my comments so you won’t be overlooked. But I really need to wait till after Christmas because I am really backlogged with requests.

This is a great video! Love the perspective of the shot. However, I can see most of the addresses you’re writing down; I don’t know if you did that cuz they’re fake or something. Just wanted to put that out there in case being able to see it is infringing on someone’s privacy

You’re the second person who has said this. I don’t mind at all your concern. It’s a very valid point. Hopefully anybody making a video like this would be smart enough to not invade other people‘s privacy. Luckily I am smart enough. The addresses have definitely been tweaked. But even so, these places are businesses. So if somebody found them I think they’d be delighted to offer you their services. 😁👏🏻

No. It’s a fake mailing. Done with one cent stamps and jumbled addresses. 😂
