What is ASMR?
It stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. Most people experience ASMR in the form of tingles, which is often described as an electrifying sensation down your back. Oh, that rolling pen... ball... rattle... thing... that's awesome. Love the sound of that.
I like the unusual triggers. The packaging to me sounded like cooking or maybe a fireplace. The cactus sounded like water drops, I don't know why. Be careful not to prick yourself on the cactus, I've done that before and it took ages to get the prickles out! The rattle thing (don't know what it is) sounded like a salt shaker, but also it sounded like a frog thing when you twisted it. 😂😂 Be careful of those silicon bags, they can be quite dangerous. Anyway, I think my favourite was either the cactus or the packaging things. Enjoyed the video, even though I've watched it late as I've woke up instead of before bed 😊
The packing peanuts offer a sound that is quite unusual indeed. The way I'd describe it is of a krinkly plastic sound that makes the nose itch, but not in an uncomfortable way, just more like an auditory sound that makes my nose ticklish or like I'm about to sneeze but not as intense as squeaky styrofoam. The cactus needles sounded like water droplets or ice crystals. Very pleasant indeed. The rattle perhaps is more under-rated as a tool for ASMR but in my mind the first thing that came into my mind was a baby or toddler playing with a rattle to calmly fall asleep.
