Fun fact! as a medical assistant to remove ear wax (cerumen impaction) we use diocto liquid about 1ml into the ear (which is a stool softener) and do an ear lavage with an earpiece and a spray bottle to flush everything out! It’s super satisfying to do! I love them! Thank you for your videos Karuna!

An otolaryngologist is actually more of an ENT dr. Not only specializing in ears. When she said "ear dr" I thought perhaps I had been mistaken and looked it up again to be sure. (I know accuracy is not that important in an ASMR video. I just mentioned it in case anyone wanted to know) :) I believe there are other specialists who do ear wax removals called Audiologists.

Justine Spink, I’m an audiology student and you would actually go to an ENT for something like an earwax removal. Audiologists typically do more things like hearing test and helping clients choose hearing aids and then fitting those hearing aids!

fun fact: the older you get the more hearing loss you experience. the height of this range begins to lower from 20000 to way lower.
