Yuuuumm! Loved both soft spoken and no talking versions of this video. Something so comforting about watching someone cook/bake/chop food. I loved watching my grandma in the kitchen when I was young, especially if she was making cookies or homemade ice cream. :)

I’m go glad I happened to be on my phone when I received this notification! Your cookie videos are so satisfying. Basic chocolate chip cookies have to be my all time favorite desserts (if I had to choose, lol). Plus, I just can’t get enough of your kitchen. Perfect, cottage eye candy! I live in a fairly newly built house, and it has its perks, especially when I have young kids at home and don’t want any surprise fixes or renovations popping up that aren’t covered under warranty. However, when the kiddos grow up, I can totally see my husband and I settling in a beautiful older (and smaller) home. But for now, I have your videos to live vicariously through! Thank you for allowing us a small look into your beautiful home. ❤️

Oh I so get that Jeff! It is really hard to live in apartments. It requires an extra a lot of courteousness and careful living. That’s why I want to move out to the country. But I happen to be on the other end of the spectrum in my case at the moment. I have really loud neighbors. Not just walking around their house baking or cooking. I wish! These people start up every kind of machine in their driveway, right next to my bedroom window. Parties every weekend. Let’s just say, I do an extra lot of editing on my videos. 😂😂😂

With the candles and warm light bulbs and the way you so softly and gently set items down, it always seems like you’re baking in the middle of the night and you’re trying to be so quiet not to disturb your sleeping husband. 😂. Yum! Mine have been coming out flat. I think it’s because I have been using a mixmaster. I’m going to try going back the old school way by hand! Yours looked perfect! Loved hearing the Blue Jay at the end of video when you were having your well deserved cup of coffee & 2 cookies!🥰🍂🍁🐿

The other thing that helps them not be so flat is to chill the dough before cooking. Also, I put a small handful of oats in it. About a half cup, I would say. They still come out really wonderfully chewy and no one knows that it it’s in there. Can’t taste it, can’t see it.

I know you’re following a recipe but have you ever tried using browned butter for cookies? It’s heavenly 😍 I haven’t found a good low carb cookie recipe I really liked yet but I’m pretty sure you could use browned butter for a low carb version too

Ileana! 🙋🏻‍♀️ I would never put wax paper on a cookie sheet. I am using parchment paper. It can go in the oven safely and save me a lot of work from cleaning the cookie sheet. Cookies come off of it easier than metal pans. Here is the link to the kitchen timer.
