I'm from Europe and born in 1988. A friend who was a scout taught me wax painting and we did this at her house. We applied the wax directly on the iron and made mountain landscapes on paper. I think it is amazing that people everywhere still enjoy this and I really like your style with the leaves. Thank you for bringing back a childhood memory I had forgotten ♡

That sounds so interesting Lina. While I’m trying everything in my power to keep the wax off of my iron, you are talking about some thing that applies wax directly to the iron. So it must have been an iron that you never used on other clothes, right? I could totally visualize how that would work. Makes me want to try it except I have no extra irons.

@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction It was one of these little irons for traveling which have no holes for steam on their surface. You can clean them between each colour with an old t-shirt or cloth. Oh and you would need some coated paper, like they use for glossy photographs. Maybe you'd like to give it a try someday.

El papel de pergamino y el papel encerado son muy diferentes. El papel encerado tiene cera que se derrite. El papel de pergamino no lo hace. Puede que eso solo sea cierto en Estados Unidos. No lo sé. Nuestro papel de pergamino no tiene cera. Y definitivamente no pondrías papel encerado en el horno y hornearías galletas en él. Gracias.

did you use the whole crayon to sharpen for the shavings to fill the cupcake paper cups? Also what material was the yellow cloth?

I used a “Brawny” industrial dusting cloth. But it doesn’t matter much what you use over the top as long as it keeps wax off of the iron. You could use a grocery bag too. I used just about one whole crayon.

We had this "painting with strings" thing back in my kindergarden in art class. Where cut a string long enough (about 40 cm i think) and then we'll dip them in paint,put the string on a folden paper paper (we put the string in the folded spine thing) and then we'll drag the string around and do it all over again in different colors to make a somesort of abstrack art It was fun,maybe you should try it

The yellow cloth is a dusting cloth. It’s a synthetic. You can use any cloth on the top. As long as it’s OK to get wax on it. Paper towels would work really well.

It is called wax paper. It is used mostly for wrapping food.

This intro to my video is made by Terry/tonsil. He did such a great job getting the feel and the mood that I wanted now that March has begun. I don’t have any of these animals in my yard. I used to have chickens. Not anymore. I wish they lived longer. I miss my Henny Penny. So cool that you get to be around animals. Now that I live in Tennessee I experience ground hogs, raccoons, possums, squirrels, birds and more birds. And they all live around me. Never a dull moment. 😂

So funny, you should call that weird. Great majority of the people on my channel come here because I don’t tap on things or talk in every single one of my videos. 😂 A lot of us think of that, as being genuine ASMR.
