2:21 Great question! This map seems to be from the late 17th century (I cannot zoom in to figure out the exact year), so the Kalmar Union would have dissolved into Denmark-Norway and Sweden by now. The Swedish Empire owns all of those territories in part due to the Thirty Years’ War, in which they decisively acted on the Protestant side. They would hold onto most of those territories until the 18th century when they would lose them to Russia, Poland-Lithuania and the German principalities.

I love this! Would love to see more of these types of maps, like the language ones where you see different names for the same word :) also china having just one timezone is so mad, I wonder if they have different working hours in different parts of the country? Like starting/finishing earlier/later depending where you are??? 😭

6:17 Ironically, out of all the maps shown in this video, this may be one of the most accurate as the ACS is conducted by the federal government, and does indeed ask these sorts of questions. 9:04 American Bison (The buffalo species in North America) were slaughtered so hard by Manifest Destiny that they are currently critically endangered in most places. Killing them is illegal. 15:25 Interestingly, the if you stood atop Mauna Kea in Hawaii, you would be in a tundra climate. Yet a hot arid desert and a tropical rainforest are both within 30km, as well as everything in between from Mediterranean to Savannah to Monsoon

The use of nuclear power is a very debated topic in Denmark. You have Many of young people who wants to implement it since its good for the environment while the elder is more “scared” of it because of the past. And the question of space is also a problem for a small country as Denmark

I believe the “window pane glue”they are referring to in Germany is caulk, which is pronounced like… well i think you know what😂

(I'm Swedish) Fun fact, norwegians don't pay for expensive norwegian beer, alot of them cross the border to Sweden to buy cheaper beer. Likewise, Swedes go to denmark to buy beer. Great video! Love from Sweden! (Also, there are just 9 nuclear powers in the world, they are: USA, UK, France, Israel, Pakistan, India, China, North Korea and Russia.) Great pornounciation of Järnspikar!
