I started buying nicer shoes after watching dornstar, and you can find Magnanni's all the time secondhand on eBay. Mileage may vary on the authenticity, though I haven't received anything yet that was of obvious counterfeit type quality.

If you go to nordstrom rack you can find magnanni for a deep discount. Usually between 140-180 dollars. Sometimes even cheaper. I usually just save up about 200 and then wait for the sales

Hey Jason, have you ever had issue with Saphir Renovator stripping the patina or paint off of Magnanni's? I keep seeing stuff about that stuff stripping the paint off of new shoes. I have a couple pair or new Magnanni but am afraid to use it on there. I bought both Bick 4 and Renovator but haven't used with either yet because I am concerned about stripping and discoloration

Just regularly polishing out the shoes I’d assume would help to keep a protective layer. But that stuff is strong. T-shirts are in production this week. 🤘

when you say you stripped them down already, what did you do? acetone? Denatured alcohol? v curious what your technique is to strip finished leather.

Love your vids! My opinion though, the fake legs are creepy (really - they are a turn off). I enjoyed the sight of the shoes being clamped onto the mental.. harnesses, holders? Love everything else! :)
