I like how you always handle curly hair so gently. Curly hair gets tangled and the detangling needs to be done gently to avoid hair damage I love how you take your time to do this step correctly.

As a fellow curly hair, it's so hard to find curly hair videos so I was soo excited when I see a curly hair video.

oh! i wanted to mention, Ivy, that a tangle teezer brush (or any kind of brush that she uses) will generally be easier to use and more efficient than a comb on curly hair! ☺ however, the comb is very gentle and is perfect too, whatever u wanna do

With scalp checks I usually fall asleep within 5 minutes, that’s why I don’t like watching them because the video will be like 20-30 minutes long & I wake up on a completely different video because I have auto play setup 😂😂😂

Mixed hair is something else! I normally detangle my daughter’s hair with a pre wash detangler gel, wash it in 4 twitst sections , wash it out really good, open the twists and apply conditioner and comb it out then twist it back again! Wash again, and still I would have tangles and nots while styling or braiding the hair 🤷🏽‍♂️ believe me it was worse before I started using the pre wash detangling gel and the 4 twists washing method. Her hair is thick, long, very curly and healthy. But I can’t wait until when she’s old enough to to do her own hair, their are no black stylist near me. You tube has taught me a lot. Sunday afternoons are hair washing days. And my! am I always dreading that! But am always happy with the finished result. Mixed hair is more high maintaining than 4 B and I have 4 B hair texture but in dread locks.Kudos to her for having such healthy hair and maintaining it.

The second one was dreadful that's sad that her hair was cared for like that my daughter's hair is like this and that just isn't cared for the correct way. 😔

Wished there was more hair sounds instead of her moving her arm sounds. Put the mic in a different spot next time. All we hear is your arm moving

She does not know what she is doing, which is NOTHING!!!🙃

The hair parting was PAINFUL to watch. When detangling you have to start from THE ENDS AND WORK YOUR WAY UP. Get the ends wet too, not just the roots, then use a wide tooth comb to detangle first and then part the hair. If not the ends will tangle then when you pull it apart the hair is susceptible to snapping off when its yanked apart. Then when you kept trying to separate the hair, you kept making more knots on the ends of her hair in different areas! And you need a Wide Tooth comb to detangle her hair and it has to be done in SMALL SECTIONS. You did not detangle her hair, you TANGLED IT. This was the WORST.
