I feel like you’re the first new gen artist to actually understand ASMR. Most people seem to just “do triggers” because that’s what they do. “Tap things. Bite things. Make mouth sounds.” It’s like a caricature of itself. But you, my friend, are a true tinglesmith.

I'd never noticed this before but you're right! It's very much just "do triggers" and not the real down to earth comfort that Sam provides. Maybe that's why he's my go-to for sleep 😂

@@WatchingWhileAsleep Yeah! I’ve felt like modern ASMR has been like that for a while. People not necessarily understanding what it is about triggers that causes ASMR, and just emulating other artists. It’s akin to people being like “I’m gonna do surgery” just because they watch operation, but have no idea about anatomy. 😂

Merry Christmas, Samuel!! You’re amazing at ASMR. I started watching you June 2022 (on my last KZread account) when you released your, I think, 5,000 subscriber video. I watched it a week after you posted it an by then you had 10K. You deserve all of those subscribers. I do have a request: a tour! I love how dark and black your room is, it’s easy on the eyes and knowing you, you did that for that exact reason… but it leaves almost everything to the imagination. I didn’t know if you were sitting in a chair, standing, or sitting on the floor until today when I saw the logo to your chair. I’d love a set up tour. Thank you!

For more clarification, I've always sat in a chair but my old chair was smaller so you could never see the back as I blocked the view of it but my new chair is a lot larger so it's visible. I have had a couple of requests for a room tour but my room is a small box room so there's nothing really to see other than the black sheet hanging up, my bed and a desk. 😅 Thank you for the comment, I really appreciate it. i just recently found your channel. I've been struggling to sleep, there are nights when i absolutely can't sleep, and i couldn't seem to find any asmr that could help my sleeping problems lately. you are like a miracle. the very fist video I've seen from you had me asleep in less than ten minutes. thank you for being you, and being here for us ♡ ps: I've never met an asmrtist who made sure i drink water and hydrate before sleeping, it felt really good.
