I put this video on loop when I go to bed and it's still playing when I wake up. Close to the perfect ASMR video for me. Actually I listen to it all day to keep me calm.

@@Dratewka_ASMRI hope you are not discouraged by placing 2nd. You should be proud because your work is beautiful! Is the shoe shining competition a yearly thing? If so, will you compete next year?
Is the finger application common practice?

I think in Japan, shoe shiners often use their fingers to apply cream and other things.

Why is wax not applied to the entire shoe? Why only on the front and back of the shoe

Because those are the hard parts of the shoe where it doesn’t bend. If applied to the soft areas of the shoe, the wax “breaks” and you walk, leaving marks and dry residue.
