How Old Are You? Where are you From?
- I am 21 years old! I currently live in FL, but I will be moving every few years since my husband is in the military. I'm thankful to be able to do ASMR everywhere I go!
Is This Your Full-Time Job?

I would assume that they live on a base since her husband is in the Army. I'm not sure how big a difference that makes, but I would think it makes it easier to get a house. Don't beat yourself up my friend. Everything comes with time.

having my husband be in the military helps us pay for our housing, so don’t compare yourself! we get an allowance from the military for housing each month which basically pays the mortgage! It wouldn’t be possible without my husband’s service.💗 you’re on the right track for yourself! I never want you to feel behind!

Building materials in the US are relatively inexpensive, but I also think our houses are more lightly built than yours. Flimsy even by comparison. BTW our hostess is gorgeous....

@j j Depends where she lives. But she's in Florida, and even the worst parts of Florida are insanely overpriced, so yeah she's got an amazing house.

Maybe someone else has mentioned it, but your idea for putting a table above the washer/dryer is a great idea, but make sure you mount it on the walls. Don’t set it directly on top of the machines as you have the potential to both generate extra noise and potentially damage the walls if it moves around assuming either machine gets a load that’s a little heavier than the machine should have.

You can make your paint thinner by adding paint solvent (i think thats the name in english,not sure) Just ask your local paint supplier and he will have it and teach you how to use. Just don't add to much, or else it will be too thin. You can also clean your painting materials with a different type of solvent, designed for removing paint. Do that everytime you're stop painting. And matt finishes are usually easier for beginners, doesn't leave marks so easy when you overlap during paintings

Lauren, I have a possible solution for you … painting, cleaning, and unpacking ASMR videos! You can do whisper voiceovers to cover the loud noises and time lapse it for big chores. You should be good for 36-48 months before the next PCS. Career military pro-tip: if it stays packed between moves, you don’t need it! Sell it or donate it and declutter your life. Best of luck!

I think top loaders are overall more common still here! but I had a top loading washer that was broken and made a horrible booming sound that triggered my PTSD (loud sounds affect me badly after my near-miss lightning strike) which sounds hilarious and ridiculous, but I just decided that I wanted a front loading washer so I wouldn’t feel so anxious about it🥲😂
