ASMR - History of the Incas

Ойын-сауық

Hello,
First a quick word to thank all of you who sent me comments, PMs, suggestions, likes, and decided to subscribe. Your response is encouraging! I started this channel from scratch in november 2013 and you are now more than 3000 subscribers. It has officially moved from "confidential" to "small" ;).
The History of the Incas was one of the requested topics in the last poll I had organized, so here it is. I will make another poll soon. Hope you will enjoy it!

As a history major I gotta tell you this has quickly become my favorite whisper/ASMR channel. Some other ideas for a cool history whisper if your interested would be... - History of the Empire of Brazil - The Revolutions of 1848 - History of the Second French Empire - Scramble for Africa - History of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth - The First Crusade - The Thirty Years' War - American Civil War

HumanityDark Revolutions of 1848 is a fucking amazing shout. Although to do them justice would probably require a 25 hour long video. The subject I would suggest would be the 7 years war.

I have a bad habit of staying up watching documentaries, but nowadays most of them have action-film soundtracks and edgy narrators. With you I can learn and still be able to wind down.

All my adult life, NOT a single person remembered the city of gold cartoons....i can't believe you named it literally....i used to ask people but since no one knew what i was talking about, i gave up....i recall it being on Nickelodeon in the 80's

PERU...a wonderful country. Indeed a land of rich culture, amazing food! And many unexplainable mysteries, sights, and history. The Incas or “The sons of the Sun” had an Empire so vast and so rich that even today Peru causes people from all over the world to visit and marvel. Machu Picchu has been nominated as one of the new seven wonders of the world. BEAUTIFUL! Thank you for sharing👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Woo hoo, love the history of the Incas. Really in to the ancient civilizations of Central America. As stated by David, seeing your videos in my feed after a long day of work is the a great feeling. Keep doing what you're doing, man. If I was to suggest a topic that I'd like to see, anything world war two related, might be a bit grim so I could see why not though. Either way keep on making videos and I'll keep on watching them!

Thank you! The XXth century and its wars are probably the period I know best and I am a fan of military history, but I have recorded nothing yet because as you say it may not be very appropriate for relaxation. I think I will though, but indirectly, through themes I should record soon like the history of submarines, aerospace, the USSR...

I was born in 1980 and very much remember Mysterious Cities of Gold. It came on before or after Spartakus and the Sun Beneath the Sea. I loved both of them, but it seemed hard to catch them like they were on at a strange time or something. Man, I haven't thought about those shows in AGES! Thanks!

Just listened to this again in Nov 2020, after listening to your latest new and compiled ancient civilizations upload (excellent!). You probably said the wheel was in use "millennia" before the conquest of the Americas (which is correct, approx 6,000 years), but at first I heard "million" years lol, so I investigated and found an interesting item: There have been wheeled toys found in Mexico dated to 1,500 BC but it is currently thought that the wheel was not used for work in the Americas due to the lack of large draft animals prior to the European invasion. The American bison was not suited to domestication (understatement!). The llama and caribou (reindeer) were too small and/or the terrain wasn't suited for wheeled vehicles (snow and ice!). (How about an episode on the history of wheels?!)

Hello! I love your work! History and ASMR are natural companions in my opinion. In any case, would you perhaps consider doing a "History of" video on Rome or Greece? I know they are kind of cliché topics but I love them so much! Have a good day!

I´m from Portugal and that cartoon series (cité d'or) was broadcasted here in the 80´s as well... when I was a kind, it was aired in the original french version with subtitles...It´s probably the first animated series that I can recall, and also the one that has caught my imagination ever since ...I still can sing the opening song :)
