random question: Have you already caught a tarantula the size of your hand or is it just a myth that the world has about Australia?

I can't speak for Miss Puddles, but personally I had forgotten that Australia even has tarantulas lol. In the seven or so years that I've lived here, I don't remember even hearing anyone talk about tarantulas. But there are definitely some big spiders here. I've seen quite a few huntsmans. They're harmless but they're very big 😬

I have never caught a tarantula before but definitely caught huntsman spiders that are as big as my hand. They're pretty harmless if not provoked. It's cockroaches that I'm afraid of lol

⁠@@MissPuddlesi love huntsmans, keeps pests away and will almost never bite even when provoked, and they dont web up around the house like some other annoying spiders
