When I did gigs in Denmark like ten, fifteen years ago several danish people said Norwegian "bokmål" (one of our writing languishes here) seem to_them ...more like Danes themselves spoke than their own written languish. Idk?! I can't say I have any ide if that is correct or not, my Danish isn't the best, to be hones. But I remember it was said. Bokmål was a result of Norway being under Denmark. (The elite in Norway was Danish, ...the writing classes of society, I guess.) So it could be the "Norwegian variant" of the writing was more "up_to_date" regarding to how speech changes over time. I have to admit, when you come to play somewhere and is treated "kind of a star_like" people tend to say things just to make you feel welcome. So it could be just something said to please us as guests. But I'm pretty sure these was the duo gigs (50/50 Sweden/Norway) ...so I kind of believed it.Idk. Languish is fascinating, anyway it is.

They speak like they are singing :) it is not a bad thing at all and is also proper, it is just the dialect that us from the mainland aren’t used to because we speak very flat if that makes sense 😊
