In Finland lives 5,6 million people (November 2023). In Uusimaa lives about 1 million people. So in Uusimaa and Helsinki doesnt live half of population of Finland.

Finland is not Scandinavian country, but it is Nordic country. Here is more facts en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scandinavia#Use_of_Nordic_countries_vs._Scandinavia
