No one ever answers the questions in these, and that must be really lonely. So, here are my answers :-D "Can you see that?" (the sparkles in the kinetic sand) - Yes! "Do any of you guys run, or do any other sports, to stay active? And, if so, why do you like the sport, and have you ever gotten injured?" - I run, and do occasional yoga. Hurt my iliopsoas stretching too hard, and it has been a continual nuisance ever since. Also, knee pain when I run on concrete for more than a few weeks. "What have you been up to this month?" - Lots of stuff! Getting the kids off to school, starting all the usual school-year activities with them, running a boy's club, teaching a small class, busy busy busy. "Are you doing well?" - My doctor says I look tired. Obviously not enough ASMR in my life! lol "Are you reading anything, or watching anything?" - Reading parenting stuff, some light theology (Frank Sheed's "Theology for Beginners" - yes people still study theology lol) - Watching, a lot of stuff! Fear the Walking Dead (yay), Downtown Abbey, Continuum, So You Think You Can Dance, Under The Dome (which is done now), Once Upon a Time, Survivor started again, a bunch of other stuff. :-)

Wow! Thank you for taking the time to respond to all of my random questions ;D! Out of curiosity, do you do any exercises for your iliopsoas that help relieve the pain(?) you are having? I don't know what kind of injury you have and am no doc but I wonder if foam rolling would give you any benefits. That's great you do yoga, it's so good for the body! ^_^ I hope you are having a great week!

Glad to engage. :-) Um, iliopsoas... hmmm... it's such a deep muscle, the only thing I could do when it really went wonky was to ice it (which was super hard... hard to stand a column of ice on it while lying down and PUSH to get the cold down into the muscle zone) and walk with a cane (for real). Since then, just occasional upward-facing-dog / cobra along with feet spread and dropping alternate hips. Wish there was more I could do. It's such a deep muscle, it's so hard to manually manipulate. For my knees while running on concrete, the solution was not to run on concrete! I got a cheap gym membership, and run on a treadmill 3 times a week. In the warm weather, I run on a soft gravel track at the local high school with some of my children. That helps a lot!! Thanks for the videos, they are super awesome and lovely. :-)

Wow, this was the first ASMR video I watched, about 15 months ago now. I got a lot of tingles and it was the first time I was aware of what ASMR was. I've literally listened to ASMR videos every night since! Thank you Caroline for introducing me to ASMR

I think that whisper videos are the best ones , and you have a perfect voice for asmr.

Thanks to @tryhaynes I think i'll do the same 1. Yes the sparkles on the sand are pretty neat. 2. I was in wrestling in high school doing varsity and playing soccer for about 6 years now. The injuries is sustained for both were I got my arm dislocated during a wrestling match and someone kicked me in the face while doing soccer. (I was Goalie) 3. Running an Asian theme festival for a club at my university and signing up to study abroad in berlin for 2 years. German is my minor with Computer Science as my major. 4. I am doing very well just so very busy with school, work, and life so these videos help a lot after a stressful day. 5. A. Just reading my textbooks and forums on reddit (if that counts as reading) B. A lot of horror movies on netflix to prep for october. I also finally finished watching daredevil along with trying to get into an anime my friend showed me called Akame Ga Kill! (interesting to say the least)

Im not a fan of the sound of kinetic sand but I will say there is nothing more calming than playing with it. I keep some just for when I need to unwind. The whispering was amazingly soothing though!!!!

I love your videos especially this one! One time,I found kinetic sand at my school and BEGGED to have it. It was so relaxing and it reminded me of you. The other students were mesmerized by it and kept on staring at me though because of me holding it. XD

+Sarah Reich I do fine with videos that aren't binaural, like doremi asmr's videos (her older ones). I get plenty of tingles from that, but when I listen to binaural, I get that weird feeling in my shoulder. It's the strangest thing.

I used to run and lift weights when I wrestled but as I've grown older I still lift but I ride my mountain bikes on/off road. I like riding because it's lower imoact and it's like a time machine - it makes me feel like a kid again. :-)
