How many hours does it usually take to draw something like this? Also how long did it take you to get to this skill level? Love your art btw!

Thanks! All my drawings are in real-time :) this one took me about 45 minutes, without counting the breaks i usually take in between, which are usually three 10 minute pauses. I've been drawing since i was a child, i'm now 23 years old so it takes a lot of dedication!

@@ArtTherapyASMR Love how you can set the proportions right away on the canvas... I'd like to hear some techinical advice on that, specially using volumes/ shades to contour things right away, is there some mental process you perform while making the rough sketching at the begining? or is it that you have practiced on the subject several times before hand?

@@TheGrmany69 I almost never sketch the subject beforehand, i used to do it only on the earlier videos. The rough sketch is mostly a simplified aproximation of the subject's proportions, i look for simple shapes that will tell me the "coordinates" of the face's diferent features, i do so by drawing broad shapes(lines, shades, blocks) and sculpting them to be more precise when another facial feature tells me the "exact" location of the other one. Hope it helps!

@@ArtTherapyASMR Oh' right! then you take the geometrical forms that frame the details that will be "sculpted" in the future by repeating this framing at smaller scale with in the rougher sketch, is it right? like building a bigger map that serves you then as reference to locate yourself within this "plane" that is the drawing to be able to set those more intricate forms, strokes and lights.
