Yes, adding a bit of green to warmer tones is a beautiful way to balance out the colors and give off an eerie sort of elegance. I have always hated green, but lately I’ve really been able to appreciate it a lot more. I’ve been getting into oil painting quite a lot lately, and having viridian on hand is an absolute essential for me now.

Just wanted to clear some misconceptions within this comment section: These aren't "art tools", they are writing tools. Ferris Wheel Press is a Canadian brand of fountain pens and ink. The ink is not light fast and therefore isn't artist-grade. I don't recognise the glass pen brand personally, but the tool itself was first documented in Italy. It doesn't have a lot to do with Japanese traditions. Regardless, they are used by writing enthusiasts as well as artists around the world, similarly to nib holders.

It's fascinating how sharp lines and simple shapes become a soft and elegant painting. Your process is so mesmerizing and perfect for asmr. This was very inspiring to watch, makes me want to get out my inks and paint something.
