I don’t want to distribute any hate here but I read some articles and educated myself a bit on the topic of eating octopus (and other animals) alive. I completely understand it’s part of a culture and just something people do. I will admit that I am disturbed by the video since octopuses do feel pain and it was just uncomfortable watching the poor animal squirm. But maybe you should have made a spoken introduction to properly back yourself up as to why you wanted to post this, what the point is, and to tell people to click off. I don’t know. I think a simple typed warning didn’t do justice. But also for the people leaving some pretty harsh comments, why did you watch the video in the first place? You knew what it would entail. I watched it because i was genuinely interested and I didn’t plan on leaving a hate comment. I do feel sympathy for this animal and I am saddened by its cause of death but I can’t judge you harshly because that would just be wrong of me because I don’t know you and I would hate to be judged for what I eat. All I’m saying is that I think a video needs to be addressed about this because that video is extremely controversial. I’ll still watch your videos but I have to admit, the live octopus eating is quite sad and disturbing to say the least.
