just speaking for myself sometimes i watch asmr without headphones or sound because we cosleep with our baby and the visual triggers do the trick🤷🏼‍♀️

the eye doctor has to be by far one of the tingliest medical experiences ever so this is perfect! you can really tell how much effort gibi put into this because it genuinely feels like i’m at the eye doctor

I don't work at an eye doctor, but I am an optometrist, and after watching some of these videos I've really begun thinking about asmr while caring for my patients. Speaking more softly and being more calm towards them.

Finally! An eye test RP with the camera manually focussed, meaning the lenses actually correct the vision. Superb :)

The way you combined the trial lenses with the camera lense focus to make the viewer vision clearer or blurrier while using the trial frame in this video was genius Gibi, it felt so realistic, well done 😀. I appreciate all the effort you always put into your Medical Roleplays, the attention to details, the research you do before making them, the props you use, the procedures, dialugues, informations, and the list goes on, it makes them so good, thank you, I loved this 😌.

The camera focus is fixed, so she had to be very mindful of her distance from the camera at all times. Pretty impressive filmmaking skills

As someone whose optician has finally abandoned the old 'case full of lenses' in favour of a machine, it was lovely and nostalgic to see this. Going to the optician when I was very young was my first experience of ASMR decades before I even knew there was a name for it. The only thing this was missing was the the noise of the lens being slotted into the configurable frame and screwed in, and the satisfying thunk of addition and removal!

This is such a neat example of how corrective lenses work! Whenever I try to explain what it’s like to be near-sighted, I don’t think people really understand. I can make out the general shape of things from a distance, and I could probably assume what certain letters or numbers are if I really focus, but glasses changes the image from being fuzzy to being sharp and legible!

I find a good way to explain is to get people to look at a tree and unfocus their eyes if they can. There’s such a huge difference in what a tree looks like with my glasses and without and I always forget what a difference they really do make

Same here. I have trouble reading menus at restaurants, for example. The words are there, but they're just kinda blurry and I can't really read them. Sometimes if I really focus I can a bit.

​@@Matthew10950 This is what made me realize I needed glasses. I tried on a pair of my cousin's glasses, just for fun, and looked at a tree outside. I could see individual leaves! Couldn't believe that sort of distance clarity was possible!

As an autistic person i really appreciate that you take the time to write the captions because i struggle with processing information but i love answering questions in asmr videos so this is super helpful for me ❤

she is my comfort youtuber. even if i don’t need to sleep, when im having a bad day i just sit and watch her videos. it’s been 4 years and she’s in my daily routine

I work at an optometrist office as a pre-tester and these questions are pretty accurate to what we would ask before taking test/ taking them to the doctor. so good job Gibi!!

The close up items, really make this video feel real, as if she's actually measuring my face. I love it because it adds visual triggers to the whole experience

this video is so well made, it’s so immersive because you took the time to figure out where we’d be able to read to with each lens, it can really feel like a back and forth conversation at a real appointment

As someone who sees an eye doctor 2-3 times a year, I would like my eye exam to be as relaxing and calm like this

Gibi the Eye Doctor (as well as Gibi the ASMRtist) is obviously a dedicated professional. Her only problem might be keeping her patients’ eyes open.. (Thanks yet again Gibi for helping us get our necessary (at least) amount of shuteye!)

One thing I’ve always been amazed is the equipment and tools and everything you get for your videos! The length you go to get legit tools and things that make it more authentic feel!

Real eye tests were my first experiences of ASMR, years and years before I even knew there was a name for it! They're always my favourite and tingliest videos 🙏✨

She's done it ladies and gentlemen- she's given me the proper head tingles that I get whenever I go to an eye doctor appointment. I've yet to feel tingles in a while but this one just sent shivers down my spine!!! Bravo gibi, bravo!!! First person I've seen get it right and somehow I knew it was eventually going to be you.

You read my mind, ive been watching you every night the last month, I’ve watched you for a while but the last month I come to you every night for comfort and familiarity, And the eye exams are my fav! Thank you for all you do ♥️♥️

Whenever I've gone to the opticians I've always loved those glasses getting put on and the different lenses that get slotted in - I think of it was my first experience of asmr, it never gets old

When I first started watching your medical appointment videos, I thought you actually were a doctor who decided to make asmr videos. You're videos are so comprehensive and spot on. And you seem so knowledgeable. 😁

Is this what it is like to go to the eye doctor? As someone that's never been (my vision is fine, I played a lot of sports so I had those yearly quick physicals, but never been to a "proper" eye doctor appointment) this is so relaxing and actually tingly for me! I usually get tingles like once or twice in videos but this one just had me all up in the tingles! Thank you Gibi! Your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed!

Since I was a kid I have always loved the eye doctor because of the ASMR I have gotten from going there. This is incredible.

I love these doctor roleplays they are always so full of all types of equipment that sound so nice that it slowly puts me to sleep.

Eye doc here. Careful picking up those trial lenses. If they fall it's such a hassle to pick them all back up. Unfortunately I speak from multiple experiences. There are a few things here and there a touch off but nothing a lay person would likely notice so I'd say this was quite good so far (I'm about halfway, I watch while my daughter sleeps bit by bit)

This literally perfect 14:31 this spot right here with the visuals is exactly what it looks like while I’m in the chair at my eye doctors office. I have 60/40 vision so the letters are always something I struggle with and I’m not often able to see past line four or five which this showed perfectly.

Thank god for this free appointment. My premium costs were too high!! At least I don’t have to wait in a waiting room only to be charged 350.00 for frames and 160.00 for lenses! Absolutely brilliant!!🤩✨✨💕
