I was just saying to my hubby this very day that I missed having old fashioned newspapers [just so I could hear the pages turning, lol] We agreed that we might pick up a paper once a week or month; just for old times' sake, lol. And in between those times, I can watch this video! I loved it! Not just the crinkles of the paper itself, but the scissors, plus when you leaned on the paper against the blanket [muffled crinkles]. Do you still get a paper? I'm sorry you couldn't have those delectable donuts you circled, lol! Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Pam xx

Your comment causes me to remember that I haven’t had a newspaper subscription ever in my whole adult life. For the first time my husband and I ordered a weekly paper just a year ago. Not only for the news but the feel and the sounds and fuel for the fireplace. 🔥 Many more uses than that! I think you should do it Pam! And of course I am glad you liked this video! 😘🤗

This video is giving me so many tingles at the moment, the sounds and visuals are just perfect! It's replaced your Bible inventory video as my current bedtime favourite. We don't really get a lot of coupons here in the UK but I've always loved the sound, feel and smell of newspapers and glossy magazines.

Hello, you make me think about my aunt who lives in USA. When she was with us in France , she said us she spend big time every week to find discount in newpapers and after she drove a lot all around her country to have discount. We didn’t understand benefits ! Good memories !

Ahhhhhhh, newspaper pages turning and crinkling........ some of my favorite calming sounds. I do what you do, using a sharpie to mark sale items in the grocery store ad that I want to buy. :-)

There are a few in Raleigh that are pretty lovely. Get just outside of the metro area and they fizzle quickly 😝 I was there w my mom last year for 6 months.

Hi Rebecca how r u ?. Wonderful vid as always, gr8 sounds and tingles 😀. I used 2 every dy in the early 1990s when I was aged 18-19 get a morning newspaper from the news stand on my way 2 the train station going 2 work. Ive gotten out the habit of getting a paper daily as all the news pops up now on me phone. It still isn't the same though compared with turning the actual pages of a newspaper I know that. I do though have loads of different magazines which r about cars, boats, country life and I love magazines and books that have old pictures of years gone by and life as it used 2 be like from the 70s, 60s, 50s, and further back.

My husband and I ordered a newspaper that comes to the house. It’s been a new experience for me because I have not had a newspaper subscription in all of my life before this. Do you live in the states? You mentioned a train station. That doesn’t sound like here. Unless you live in Boston.

We get a few coupons in newspapers here in the U.K, and supermarkets give them away occasionally, but nothing like the amount you get in the U.S. You must be able to make considerable savings 👛💰. Love the paper rustling btw, it helped towards a lazy Sunday morning doing not very much at all.😊.

It’s no problem for me. I’m just disappointed that I’m not getting to read your comments. It’ll show the first sentence or first few words and that’s all I get. I’m wondering if they are being bothered by the word “Instagram”… or sometimes it’s too many emoticons. Another reason why they weed out what they suspect as spam, is if people are commenting frequently on a lot of different KZread channels. No need to apologize. I don’t think you’re doing anything wrong.

Rebecca you americans are so priviliged here in the uk we dont get coupons and if we do its for very little off but those pages are covered in them couponing here is so bad that a certain youtuber who did it gave up making a video stating the effort was not worth savings Its sad as i love couponing but alas uk dreams will never be furfilled

I agree that it is a privilege. Coupons are rather a result of competing companies. If there are not a lot of companies, varieties or choices there is no need for product discounts. They know you will buy anyway. So, our real privilege is in the entrepreneurial opportunities there are which creates more variety and competing companies. Freedom under capitalism, pretty much.
