I have around 15 pairs of Vans, and holy shit this is way too heart filling for me. Crispy clean sole is the most important thing for me and i've never thought of acetone/lighter fluid before!

Acetone and one of those Mr. Clean eraser things. Works WONDERS. I also use "Shout!" to remove stains from white shoes, leather or otherwise.

Facts

I once had a pair of boots that I had restored 3 times. I loved them so much. They were made of leather and canvas, ‘puss in boots’ style. It’s a different feeling when you love your things and they can be made new again. Thank you for restoring things! 🙏💕

Amazing Restoration, in my personal opinion the wear on the heal was not that bad that I personally would have put the Shoe-Goo, However all your videos are a Pleasure to watch.🙂❤️

the wear on the heel wasn't that bad on camera, however, that type of sole is very specific, and inlaid, which is more difficult to replace rather just glueing a new one on top like he usually does. better to protect it now with the gum sole.

Pro tip, don’t dry your shoes in direct sunlight, especially if they have a pattern, it will fade them out like crazy!

What brand do you use for stain remover?

What causes the dark marks on the laces? Is it oxidation of the eyelets? Also, what are the white pads you use to scrub on acetone with? Cotton balls are not that smooth. Are they special?

That's The first time I've ever seen shoe goo applied to vans like that. Usually it's trying to cover holes from griptape wear.

question: do you just air dry the shoes after washing? Or do you put them in the dryer?
