He’s good at saying a bunch of nonsense and making mouth sounds to keep up the time when he doesn’t know what move to make

14:20, bf5 is such a killer move. First of all it creates a discovered attack with the rook looking straight at two pieces. If black moves the bishop you have two attackers on the knight that is only defended once by the other knight. If they do anything else they lose the bishop. Unfortunate miss but really solid video!

I don’t understand a thing about chess, but this was enjoyable to watch.

9:25 I think Bc4 is best because it threatens Bxf7. After Kxf7, Ne5+ gives back the bishop + free pawn + no castling rights. Pretty common idea in the Scandi actually which is why e6 is usually the normal move

nvm my previous comment had a mistake in it so im gonna propose another move after 1. Bc4 I just play 2. e3 and now ur bishop and got no intent and i open up my bishop for development

@@Jakobmu then that’s when you can play h3. Retreating to h4 then g5 allows d5, opening up the center since the king is still in the center. If bishop x knight then the queen is out. White has an enjoyable advantage with 3 pieces out as opposed to the one black has

@@Jakobmu In which context do you play g6? Right after I play h3? Right after Qxf3? Regardless, if a position has equal material but one side has a point advantage, then that should be the start of a significant advantage

@@vigil8400 after qxf3. even though yes you have a point of advantage (if not more due to some super hidden stoclfish tactic) but i think hes just better ofr play h3 immediately since you challenge his only developped piece

Bishop c4 might have been better than sac-ing in that context… would have pinned the pawn while maintaining both the hanging bishop and the king’s far more restricted position

Bishop f5 just wins a full piece though, right? The rook attacks the hanging bishop, which is pinned to the d7 knight, which is then attacked by both the bishop and the rook and only defended by the b8 knight, then bishop takes knight, knight takes bishop, then rook takes knight

13:36 you just needed to take it with bishop, and you won material. If Black castles, you eat, if he eats you with any figure, you just move that f pawn, since you still have active pin with the rook and gg :) Forgot to mention, he could not eat your bishop with that pawn anyway, due to same pin on king lol :D

13:23 you could continue to attack his pawn with f4.That would have been nasty pawn move.Also,after he castled you could just go bishop to f5 instead of giving it away and you would have won a piece after the black bishop retreated(the knight on d7 was hanging because of you f5 bishop and rook)
