ThankYou so much for as you say this voyage into nostalgia;. Peter Jackson really did creat a masterpiece and, I'm sure Tolkien would be satisfied with the trilogy (as well as the Hobbit ) I cried at the end (thankyou Annie Lennox and those lovely pencil drawn portraites!) We named our daughter Arwen after the films character (I also saw that in Welsh it means noble maiden) One thing's for sure is that revisiting this book with you like so many other books that we both have on our shelves is always a pleasure with your most gentle voice/accent . . .truly soothing and addictive, attractive and delightful !
