I've only seen it once outside of this channel and it was Preston who was inspired by her so I think its safe to say she invented it or at least is the main reason it spread

that tapping on brush is so creative and it takes some hard work to do that (i mean it's really hard to tapping the brush and brushing the mic at the same time) you really did a great job tho! and i love how it gave me the unique sensation
