ASMR Baking Gooey Brownies From Scratch (Close Whispered Voiceover)

Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon espresso powder (optional, but enhances the chocolate) OR 1/4 cup of hot coffee added to the wet mixture
1 and 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
3 Tablespoons oil (I used vegetable but canola or coconut is good too!)
1 and 3/4 cups granulated sugar (will get divided into two portions in the recipe)
2 large eggs plus 1 egg yolk
However many chocolate chips YOU want ;)
Recipe:
The oven will be set to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, cocoa powder, and espresso powder. Set aside until needed.
In a saucepan, combine the butter, oil, and 1/2 cup of the sugar.
Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, until butter is melted. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a separate mixing bowl, combine the eggs and remaining sugar. Whisk until well combined, about 30 seconds (I used a whisk, though an electric mixer works too)
Slowly, pour the warm butter mixture into the egg mixture, adding it a little bit at a time and whisking constantly until completely combined. (If you choose to use brewed coffee i stead of espresso powder, this is where you’ll add it.
Add in the dry ingredients and chocolate chips and, using a rubber spatula, slowly stir UNTIL you just see the last bits of dry ingredients, you don’t have to overmix it.
Pour the batter into a 9x9 nonstick pan (use parchment paper and nonstick spray to really help) and bake for 28 minutes.
Let them cool a bit before cutting, and add any powdered sugar or syrups for garnish (or leave them plain) and you are good to go! Enjoy!

I’ve always wanted to find a creator that does like asmr cooking but specifically baking because when I do it. It is just so therapeutic and wonderful I wanted that feeling without having to bake each time lol and I’m so HAPPY you popped into my feed ❤

The salt flakes sprinkled in at the end is such a pro move. From the few home made brownies I've had that always enhances the flavor. Also, yet another video where I had to watch twice because on my first watch through i fell asleep lol.

Now I need to go make myself a brownie lol. When you add instant espresso adding the hot water to dissolve it definitely helps, i’ve been lazy and tried to melt it in hot butter but its not the same lol These look amazing and your whisper is absolutely delightful. I listen to asmr to mellow out throughout the day and this is perfect

Such peaceful ambient lighting and such a pleasant tone of whisper. Was pondering whether your daily inclusion of candle variants is spontaneously decided or if perhaps you have a preference for a range of specific fragrances. I love the kitty cameos. I never thought of adding coffee to any of my recipes. Lots of chocolate is the answer to many problems. I've always had issue with the end product sticking to the container, so parchment paper is a good solution. It's true, end pieces are the best. That is a cute Calcifer mug. Your brownies look very tasty. Well done.

I haven’t watched your Thumbprint Cookies video yet, but they remind me of these really yummy raspberry ribbon cookies that I bake on special occasions. They’re so, so good. Hey there! I truthfully end up with an amalgamation of my own mother’s recipes, print outs from online bakers, and my own random tweaks here and there, but one of my tried and true online bakers is Sally’s baking addiction. Her recipes follow so similarly and are amaaazing! 🧡

Try switching from vegetable oil to canola oil
Hey there agian!! Without sounding rude it would be more relaxing if you didn't do the voiceover......juts the natural sounds (like the natural sound of cracking an egg or pouring somthing into a bowl) for example. I do highly recommend you to do that!!! Much love.

I do really appreciate your suggestion, but I would recommend finding another channel that does baking with just the sounds. Rebecca does a fantastic job at that. My content will almost always have a whisper as I know that is what my viewers, and I, enjoy the most. ❤️
