I didn't know I had been waiting for this until I heard and saw. And I didn't know exactly how desperate I needed to hear and see a US citizen tell me in person about his true, honest and of course complex views on 'the trail of tears, USA 1830 and after'. Your place in our hearts and in the hearts of the world grows and grows - you are the miracle.

i'm a fan of your channel and certainly no friend of the Just Cause Doctrine and am more than happy to engage in one of America's great pastimes of railing on the confederates, but I can't help but notice you have tended to gloss over the horrors of virtually every other place you have covered thus far in your trek across the globe but have spared little grief for Alabama. Sudan, for example, you very politely skim over the atrocity and complexity of the problems there. I am not sure if you have ever mentioned the vast amount of wealth created in Africa by Africans selling other Africans into slavery and the role this had in their various "golden ages" (kidnapped, as you say). I think the main reason is that it's not very conducive to ASMR. Just an observation. Keep up the good work...

She glosses over other atrocities in order to not be demonetized by KZread. She gets her point across. KZread makes a lot of money off disinformation regarding US history so she actually gets to speak freely for once. She did a great job.

I dislike how Americans are always lambasted for not being able to pronounce names and words in other languages. Every group of people struggles to pronounce words in other languages! In the US, criticizing someone’s ability to speak English is seen as at best rude and at worst racist (I agree), but everywhere else Americans are mocked for universal mistakes. To people who say: “you’re going to another country/culture you should learn how to pronounce things correctly,” I have two answers- 1. everyone has their blind spots, it is a honest mistake. 2. How would you react to someone saying, “this is America, speak English.” Americans aren’t stupid, unfortunately many of us are crippled by the horrible public education system.

So, so you prefer ignorant & proud of it then? Apparently you have no idea that 'woke' means something along the lines of 'aware about your surroundings/ mindful/ driven to improve/ calling abuse out'. If these are no-gos to you then YOU are the problem.
