As someone whos not rich,i can comfirm you just need a few things that will grow over time, i have this file that has a bunch of little papers and random papers i find.I have some washi tapes that were 79p for 5,i have a small book of patterm paper that was 99p,and a small book with 5 sheets of stickers which was 69p.I got these from home bargains :)

Not really, esp with the rise of online stories and thrift shops, you could just find cheap notebooks, glue and scissors use any papers you have.

I agree!❤ This is cute, but I would call it collage or scrapbook. The best diaries are the ones written on waterproof, thick paper, the ones written with extra details, so you can feel those feelings again while you are reading them. It can work for simple notebooks or fancy journals, as long as the paper is good.

I too use to think the same but making journals are very stress relieving and not only these types you can make actually useful journals where you write down things to do for the day/week and it helps you to be motivated so that u make more complete tasks more and more
