Absolutely love this video and the stories! The paper sounds and picture close ups are wonderful! I particularly enjoyed the soft spoken, but think the combination of both speaking styles is a great idea!

This is magical!! I love stories from different cultures. I really liked the sound effects you chose. I think I prefer soft spoken over whispered, by either way I like using my imagination as I listen :3 sometimes I'll listen to your Flemish version of stories just to see what words I can learn :p

Very well crafted, SP. I love they way you blend in a combination of background sounds (the sound of waves, moving your hands over the page etc) while you read this story in such a relaxing soothing voice tone. It's amazing how you can read Dutch while translating it into English with ease. I couldn't do it to save my life. I love your style. Keep the stories coming.

+Damion Bane Most of it are fairytales from the Storyteller series. I found pdf's with the scanned stories in English, really helpful! You can find a bunch of them on KZread with the original voices btw. Then I also got the series of Storytime Treasury 1969 but for those I haven't found an English translation yet, however I can translate it but it would be less accurate, like I did with the first 2 stories on this channel. But those treasuries are the best ones I believe 😊 However, sometimes, these days, some might be politically incorrect for YT standards 😂 Anyway, I was thinking: or 3 Winter stories, or 3 medieval ones or 3 sci fi ones. There also very really long ones but then its like the Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan or Pinokkio. But not Disney-ish. And some I'd prefer to keep for Spring. I was think winter stories at first. But they're with talking animals. But.. that is also a question. Is it not disturbing when there is too much dialogue? That I'd have to do voices? I could but is it Asmrry 😁

+Nicole Lori Yeah I prefer that as well. Some stories everyone has heard already a million times. However, some in these books are the same story as well and yet a bit different. I got storybooks from the 60's were they are darker then, say Disney versions 😊

That would have been not relaxing anymore. 😁 I expanded my story collection btw. Turns out there were much more books of the same series that I already had!
