If that is your idea of "a complete nut-case," I truly pity you and your dull existence. He just seems to be a genuine guy who doesn't appear to worry himself with what other people think of him or what they expect him to be. (As a person, at least. As a performer, you have to think about such things to a degree.) I mean, literally all of his advice boils down to "Be yourself, do what makes you happy, mean what you say," and other such sentiments. Yeah, he's "rough around the edges," but he pretty much embodies the way so many people in this world truly are, were they to remove the facade they feel the need to put forth in order to "fit in" or be who the world wants them to be. To put it simply, he's already cut away all the bullshit, and what remains is just a real-ass dude. I kinda worry what the hell you consider to be "sane..."

Damn fastest podcast I ever listened too!!! I wanted more. You can tell Jon is an extremely smart and critically thinking guy. His "don't give a fuck" attitude sometimes hides it but the dude is intelligent and such a bad ass. His daughter is so lucky to have a father figure like him lead her through life.

@@travisjames5 wow, tell us how you really feel. 👏🏻 So.. wanting your daughter to pursue her dream, (if it happens to be wrestling, in this case) which also happens to be your own passion and life's work (which has also happened to bring you quite a pretty penny as well as meeting the love of your life aka this child's mother)... is "dumb" to you? I truly hope you never procreate... And if the safety is your reasoning... well I think a guy with a penchant for the hard-core knows a thing or two about how to stay as safe as possible, while looking the complete opposite. And I also think he would do everything in his power to make sure his own child learns how to wrestle as safely as absolutely possible.
