I am Vietnamese. English is my second language. I started learning French thanks to this channel. Your short videos are so well-contructed with great balance between lesson and fun information. This helped a lot. It sounds like the closest thing we use every day in English is when we say a statement, but then add ", right?" to the end of the sentence which makes it a question. Like in the first example, the equivalent would be, "You are French, right?" That's how I'm interpreting it anyway. Or maybe even closer is the way you hear lawyers phrase questions, "Is it true that you are French?"

I seldom follow the same teacher from the beginning to the end. But I've binge watched 30 of your videos now just within 3 days. You made everything so clear and you have a fun personality. Your lessons keep me engaged without getting bored. I have learned so much in such a short time. Thank you very much Alexa! I'm not stopping. I will continue to the next videos. By the way, I have subscribed to your channel.

This is the reason I LOVE you -for me to learn- I need to know the reasons "why" a thing is a thing-so to speak. You do this very well. The explanations you give and reasons stick like glue in my brain and to say thank you does not even come close!!!
