I think the camera helps. It's similar to doing things with your friends that you wouldn't do alone. If it did go really bad and they weren't fine with it, they could probably stop them from uploading their part.

But also the response was very respectfully saving the friendship: "I get a lot of joy out of being friends and I do not want to change that". Maybe the person had very bad experiences with relationships in romantic or sexual ways and is really preferring a person next/ aside who will stay and who has genuine, stable love and intimacy without drama.

@@retrominz exactly. I know all people are different, but for the overwhelming majority, it will usually lead to one or both of the dancers not continuing in the community. I met my ex dancing, and we split after 5 years. It was amicable, almost as equally wanted from both parties as you can get. But even then, we both were avoiding the events, just in case we ran into each other. She’s completely stopped being involved, while I have gotten back into it.

I think that attraction is natural, its natural to feel attraction towards others, and also totally natural not to! and sometimes we can develop an attraction toward someone who is in a relationship just like the guy in this video. What I do think, however, is that it is up to you how you handle that attraction. and you do ultimately have control over how you choose to act on it. In my personal opinion, I think calling someone with a boyfriend and asking them something like that head-on is not the best way to go about it. it puts them in a really difficult situation. I think if you do have feelings for someone in a relationship, and you really feel as though you have to tell them because it is having an impact on you or others in your day-to-day, possibly in a negative fashion, then you should let them know. If that is something that you think would help you let go of it that is. But I think you should have an honest discussion about it. Communicate to them how you feel, respecting the fact they are in a relationship and you do not expect it to go anywhere. And then if there is a chance that person feels the same way, it's very important not to cross any boundaries into engaging with them whilst they still have a partner. Relationships are complex, and there are real people involved, so real people who can get hurt based on how you handle this.

5:56 agreed! I have always been friend zoned when I was younger and felt disappointed all my other friends had people after them. When I got into college I strangely started having all these guys after me. I met someone through a friend and I didn't expect anything to happen because I didn't think I was their type. Hah next thing ya know till this day we've been together for 5 years! So never let your doubts get in the way, life is short and go for the risk!
