    Virginity is a very tricky subject. In my country, virginity is a sign of virtue but for the female only.. Men always pick virgins as their spouse and will be so disappointed and bitter if the woman is not a virgin.. but the same men go through a bunch of women, having casual sex. Society really think that men can do whatever they want because they are 'men'.

    As a dude, I'm not always up for sex. Honestly, this is kind of a dangerous misconception. As a man, if I can't "get it up," then I might be seen as broken or underperforming. And from a girl's perspective, she shouldn't have this expectation, because then she'll get hurt when her partner just isn't feeling up for it. Being in a constant state of horniness is just exhausting.

    yes, I think this "horniness" just reflect the stereotype of manly men while the fact that a woman needs time, care and to set up a mood is the other side of the coin. They are just archetypes, but they are changing, luckily. I think that now is not scandalous that a woman posses sex drive and a man has feelings.

    Individualism is great… Except when trying to establish broader trends. If aliens asked what the males and females of our species were like, we wouldn’t show them: some tall, buff, female UFC fighter woman and a short, scrawny dude in drag. For example.

  • @winterxiii

    @winterxiii

    2 жыл бұрын

    Of course sex-drive is individualistic at the end of the day, but that doesn't mean there aren't biological factors that play into it. It isn't necessarily a discussion of gender as it is about biological sex. Just like every organism, we are designed to reproduce, and like most mammals, biologically designed to seek it out more often. Sociological factors do play into things thanks to our intelligence, and that development means that there are a lot of variables between people of both sexes and all genders; but it doesn't refute that on average, by a substantial margin, biological males think more about sex, as well as masturbate more frequently because of it. And the studies have shown this from all sexuality and gender group testing. Again, this isn't to say that biological females can't have a higher sex drive, nor does it mean anything for gender identity and sex drive ultimately being worse depending on your gender as sociological factors will always play a part in it. Eventually, science will probably become advanced enough to manipulate the physiology of biological males and females, and then it really won't matter and we can truly say that it is dependent on the individual (or I guess those with just higher testosterone levels and whatnot that contribute to the more innate form of sex drive).

  • @anjaneyareddy6946

    @anjaneyareddy6946

    2 жыл бұрын

    Bro they aren't stereotypes. Testosterone is the sex hormone. Since it's greater in men, they do have a higher sex drive bit ofc there will always be exceptions. Some men may have low sex drive and some women may have higher sex drive. It's science.

    I feel like it's dangerous to apply stereotypes to genders. I've heard many men say that no, they don't think about sex all the time or crave it all the time. And then they feel like less of a man because "society" makes it seem like that's what they're supposed to want. On the opposite side with women, we DEFINITELY have sex drives and urges. We think about sex. We crave sex and intimacy. And a good amount, too. However, a lot of women feel they have to be self-conscious or quiet about their desires because society is quick to label them as "sluts" or "promiscuous". In reality, it goes more on an individual basis as opposed to gender (as you also have to take into consideration people who do not fit within the "male" or "female" spectrum, or they fit into both). It is changing, however. And a lot of people within the younger generations are a lot more open and honest about sex. This is coming from a 23 year old American female perspective though, so I find it interesting to see how people of different cultures and backgrounds discuss the topics of relationships, sex, and intimacy.

    OMG YES 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I’m a girl and I was always conscious to talk about masturbation or watching porn because it was such a taboo topic. Thankfully my friend opened me up to it. I also agree that it’s dangerous applying stereotypes, it rubbed me off the wrong way, especially the ones that I personally had forced upon myself. I’m glad that it’s changing tho. They definitely have more stereotypical views but that’s probably because of their culture. Especially woman’s view, from what I’ve seen as a kpop fan for years, the imagine of a woman they described quite fits the standards they have there for girls. (From what I’ve seen at least)

I’ve watched quite a few of their videos and while I, for the most part, enjoy them, you can tell that their culture and upbringing influence their opinions on certain topics. I try to take it as a learning experience, at the end of the day.

    It goes on a more individual level but gender plays a huge role into it because of the biological factors. Humans are still animals, we have evolved immensely in the cultural aspect because we are the most intelligent species on the planet but we still have a fair share of biological factors dictating the way we act. Men tend to have a higher sex drive because reproduction is the end goal for all life and mating for men isn't as dangerous as it is for women. Women tend to have lower sex drives because reproduction is very time consuming if pregnancy occurs plus it puts women in a more vulnerable state. That's easily seen with the way many mammals give birth to essentially mini versions of themselves which have the capability to be independent very fast. In comparison, a human baby can't survive in literally any scenario without someone

    It's interesting to see their reactions to these questions as a foreigner. We talk about it nonchalantly but it makes other people turn red. I would like to ask the guys: -What would they consider is Their "perfect boob size? Or butt size" - Dating younger or older women, yeay or nay...how much of an age gap is too much? - What are things that turn them on that girls do without knowing they do it? Same for the female lead, what is something a guy does that you find attractive that he may not be aware he is doing? - What do they consider to be "attractive" vs a "turn on" Can they be specific? Also, as a general norm among their peers?

    As a woman I know several guys who are less often horny than their gf or don't get horny at all when they're going through a rough patch and there's absolutely nothing wrong with them. For the sake of everyone I think it's time we stop seeing men as wild sex beasts. It can also be a source of a lot of troubles: I've had female friends who told me their bf didn't get horny often and that made them feel really really insecure about themselves or if they were attractive to their bf because a guy is supposed to always be up to it. I wish we would really stop seeing (and pressurizing) men like that. So many men end up believing they have a problem because of that kind of stuff.

    4:38 my thoughts on it are: 1. An intimate relationship is where you will most likely develop trauma from. Most people don't deal with trauma. So avoid that extra difficulty in a relationship. 2. I don't like dating casually, only with the intent of marriage, so someone who thinks the same is likely to be inexperienced. 4:51 so for these guys who seem more casual (not looking for anything specific and accepting things as they happen) it is likely less meaningful. 3. I find first experiences to be the most meaningful. I want to share as many of my first experiences with her, and for her to do the same with me. 4. It shows me where her mind is and what she values more (when combined with other things). I like a girl whose open about her sexuality, but does she value it more than starting a family? If yes, then we don't have matching values and I don't want to impose on her nor for her to impose on me.

    There is one thing you guys need to stop assuming and that is just bc you're American, it does not mean you're sexually more liberated. Just like anyone in this world, you will find all sorts of people in America. It's not common to date your friend's ex. Yes, it happens but it's not common nor do we think it's not a big deal. So, please re-think about how you define Americans....just like you wouldn't want us to define Koreans based on the Korean dramas/movies.

    But I've seen in a lot of movies/ shows people getting with their friend's ex. So it gives us a notion that maybe it's more acceptable in the states. I'm sure there are all sorts of people but to me that idea is a no go.

    Usually those types of guys are the guys that actually truly love a girl. Not those that are just aiming for a physical relationship but a mental one too. It's a guy that's aiming to marry that girl that he loves truly and admires her face. If you see a guy looking at your face every time and it seems like he is admiring you not your body, well it could have a high possibility that he likes your soul and who you are. Usually that happens between a man and a woman that have been best friends for a long time and respect their limits and friendship. They both know everything about each other and understand each other. I guess those are the most successful relationships and truly honest ones. Note: If a guy is looking at your face but mainly on your lips, well he's like the ones that look at the body. So nope not a true pure lover.

    I'll be very clear, I'll never date an Ex of one of my friends, because it would seriously change the dynamics of the friendship. In that situation there's going to people gossiping about it, did I wreck my friends relationship. I'll also say this, I never date a girl from my friend group. Cheating, I'll never stay or get back together with a cheater, because its a sign of disrespect.

    The bottom line answer to every question about people is, "everyone is different and every situation must be treated uniquely and not the same." Life is simple, but inter-mingling with people is extremely complex. These people certainly show their age in perceptions to what they think the standards are between males and females. Trust me guys, as you get older, your answers will change from every day ever time ever second to.. it depends. lol

    My colleague dated my ex, she actually dumped me for him and I didn't have a problem with it. Once your ex and you broke up, why do you have any right to decide who she dates afterwards? She can do w/e the fk she wants and u just need 2 accept it. Same applies to you, u can do w/e the fk u want after the break up and she can't do shit about it either. In this day and age, break ups and divorce is the norm so it went from being together for better or worse, in sickness or in health to be with each other when you're happy and break up and find someone else you're more happy with along the way. People much rather just "trade up" or leave the relationship anytime something negative happens rather than trying to work it out and stick with it coz its just easier to run away from problems than face them front on. People's tolerance has also gotten lower and lower to the point where you can now "offend" someone just coz you disagreed with their crazy opinion. One day these people will realize how fragile and shallow their relationships are then rather than looking at themselves, they're just going to "give up on humanity" coz it's everyone else's fault and have 10 dogs and cats coz "animals are better than hoomans".
