at the end of the day its all about being in sync. if you gotta drummer doing sick ass shit but everyone else is keeping up with it and is tight and in sync shit is still cool. its all about balance and knowing all things simple or complex has its place and when to use it is where the real fun comes into writing music. At least for me.
