Mine is blue he's a persian cat

.. Ive been worrying about something.. My kitten named winter, is a very sweet and loving cat. but just now, she seeme weak.. like she doesn't meow.. And i think its because shes the type of cat that is very quiet, we adopted winter and summer last three weeks. and they were literally so small, but why does she seem so weak? I think its because of her thicks or whatever its spelled. but is it getting my kittens weaker?.. Please help..

Feed her daily 4 times early in the morning, afternoon so at 1-2 pm and then 5 pm and then another time before she sleeps also make sure she socialises so it will bring more confidence in her or take her to the vets if it's a major prob-

My cat had brown eyes when she was small but now that she is about 8 month old they appear to be turning green. Is that common?

Not sure about cats - but this actually happens in humans. Some people's eye lighten as they age and lose melanin. Green eyes have less melanin than brown eyes. More extreme examples csn be seen on people who have had lasik eye surgery - where you can lose pigment and realivetly dark eyes can turn blue. On the other side of the spectrum - certain glaucoma medication has the side effect of thicker darker eyelashes and has also been shown to cause sone people's hazel eyes to turn a darker brown shade.

@@shannonbalthazor8712 well my little cat has not had any eye surgeries thank goodness! 😉But she is now two years old and far from being a kitten, and her eyes did turn green, now they are totally lime green. Never seen anything like it.

Is there any way to prevent the color change?

Hi Tyra, the Pets Central vets advise that cat eyes may change colour naturally, especially in kittens and especially in certain breeds such as Siamese. That's good for the cat's development, and shouldn't be prevented. Eyes may also show smaller colour change in adult cats that's part of the ageing process. But some medical conditions may result in a change of colour for an adult cat, such as with a hormonal disease like diabetes. If you notice a sizeable change in the colour of an adult cat's eyes, it's worth getting a vet to check it out.

@@nativeeurope1299 lol they think the blue looks better I guess. The blue made my cat look weird when she was a kitten lol. The brownish yellow that it is now looks more normal
