Ask The Producer: Stimming (Electronic Beats TV)

Музыка

Next on Telekom Electronic Beats TV’s Ask The Producer series, we’re going deep with Stimming. As our resident gear expert, he needs little introduction. We asked the public for the questions via social media, selected a few, and got Stimming to answer them. Martin loves to talk about music gear, and how he uses it, so pour yourself a drink, set your phone to mute, and get comfortable because you are in for a 70 min. ride!
Note: This video was filmed by Stimming alone in his studio in Hamburg during the COVID-19 lockdown.”
0:00 Intro
1:52 What is your favourite Drum Machine?

Love Stimming. We interviewed him once. Some artists you have to ask a ton of questions. He was so easy to interview and had so much to say. You can tell he is so thoughtful and knowledgable about every element of what he does. True artist.

I love this, your comments on "transparency" and the sweet low end are, while seemingly obvious, excellent examples in a practical application. Using the studio as a writing tool is such an over arching concept and so rarely done well and this is so refreshing. Good luck with rest of Covid and thanks so much for expanding on your process.
