Ask The Producer: Stimming (Electronic Beats TV)
Музыка
Next on Telekom Electronic Beats TV’s Ask The Producer series, we’re going deep with Stimming. As our resident gear expert, he needs little introduction. We asked the public for the questions via social media, selected a few, and got Stimming to answer them. Martin loves to talk about music gear, and how he uses it, so pour yourself a drink, set your phone to mute, and get comfortable because you are in for a 70 min. ride!
Note: This video was filmed by Stimming alone in his studio in Hamburg during the COVID-19 lockdown.”

I couldn't agree more - he's a gem!
everytime i watch stimming in his studio I just think to myself "What a fucking cool guy"
Love Stimming. We interviewed him once. Some artists you have to ask a ton of questions. He was so easy to interview and had so much to say. You can tell he is so thoughtful and knowledgable about every element of what he does. True artist.
quarantine makes him even more stimming.
Id love to see a masterclass taught by Stimming himself. That'd be wonderful.
They should make a Masterclass for Stimming, he is a living legend and I'm sure a lot of people would enjoy learning his craft.
This man is a treasure.
the enthusiasm is just so infectious
37:40 "I'm swallowing air.. while talking. Wow. Is that normal.. Am I normal...?" LOL I love this man
You can tell this guy truly loves music and have such great passion... a true creative soul and a purist...that’s why i love his music so much. One of my bucket list is to see him play live
Big up for calling Behringer out on the bullying of Peter Kirn. Thank you!
It's not a studio, it's a laboratory because Mr Stimming is a musical scientist.

@@ElectronicBeatsTV I missed this one: 39:15 What is on your masterbus and do you mix into it while you are producing?
55:42 "I'm talking about PA systems. They get better, because they uhm... they... mmhm... **wierd facial expression** ehhm? ohhm? uhhm? ehhh? ohhhm? uhhm? ???Speeaaker??? heh? VOID! VOID! Martin... Audio. :) Oh wait... d&b Audiotechnik! " Such a Stimming moment, it made my day. :)
that glow and overall excitement when he started the MFB Tanzbär. So lovely! Love Stimming!
Stimming is honest and passionate, a good human being.
What a wonderful guy! I'm pretty sure one of the main reasons he makes good music is that he is a good person.
It's awesome when one of your favorite musicians/producers is actually as amazing as you imagine them to be. This is downright inspiring. What a cool dude!!!! Been wanting a long form interview in english for a while. This is even better.
So many iconic Stimming moments in one video! This a gold mine! I have never learned this much under the span of an hour! Thank you for Telekom EB for bringing this awesome content to life, and thank you Martin for answering my question: "Why did you ditch the ATC monitors?"
Stimming making a review of the »Pulsar 203«? What are you asking?!? Yes, of course, go, go, go, yes, yes, yes!
This was so much more useful, informational and educational than 95% of videos like this.
This guy hypnotizes me in the best way possible. What a lovely human being
I love how he digresses when answering a short and easy question just because it's his passion that shines through.
I loved the change from depression to happiness when you started the mfb!
THE TRUTH IS IN THE MASTER OUT
big respect for the love for sound
I love this, your comments on "transparency" and the sweet low end are, while seemingly obvious, excellent examples in a practical application. Using the studio as a writing tool is such an over arching concept and so rarely done well and this is so refreshing. Good luck with rest of Covid and thanks so much for expanding on your process.
The excitement in his voice when he talks about the perfection of the clap sound says it all, true passion here thanks for answering these questions
Lustig.
Thank you by the way to Electronic Beats and Stimming for the invaluable eduction. Bless you! 🙏🏼
Thank you Martin! Always learning tons from you. I hope to be able to see you live whenever it's possible!
Your like a kid playing music, to see the joy it’s wonderful.
I love this guy! Very pleasant to watch. The hour went by like whoooosh...
Sure, I love all Stimming videos when he shows and speaks about anything. I learn and understand and get inspiration a lot. This makes me so glad!!
Great bloke, his personality shows in his music. Very interesting seeing his work space and tools, I couldn’t agree more with using your hands and getting out of the box.
Very inspiring to listen to someone that looks and sounds like they still have a lot of fun producing music.
His passion is contagious! Great segment; thanks for the pointers.
Stimming has been inspiring me for years and this vid is no different! Genius mixing.
Martin is to electronic music what a 5 star restaurant chef is to food. The key is precision. Only the ability to describe in detail how a track is done, what the ingredients are allows you to progress and to expand your music capabilities. Thank you very much for this video!

Informative and instantly applicable to one's own creations, as usual with Stimming!
Thank you T.E.B and Stimming for doing this for us! :)
Stimming mach bitte weiter mit derartigen Videos. Auch deine Produkttests sind die Besten!!
Such a valuable video with a GREAT musician! Even if you don’t have the same tools these principles will translate!
Really appreciated this video. Your playfulness is a great quality. The Pulsar-23...it goes beyond most things I've used...Vlad is an artist.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and your process in such a generous and entertaining way. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the Pulsar. I love mine 😍
your love for music stands bold ! cheers brother ....
This was an incredible insight in your way of making music. Thank you so much for it.
That was so cool ^^ thank you for sharing this with us ! Cheers and love from France
Great video. Thanks so much. Very purist. Learned a great deal.
Entertaining and educational at the same time. Thank you Stimming!
I love this dude, so much energy for sound
A really insightful video, I'm not too familair with his music but some of these approaches are very inspiring!
Thank you for this, it's a joy to listen to your knowledge.
The man is a great presenter, pleasant to watch!
this is amazing! so much good insight and hilarious.. thanks for sharing. that cwejman and pulsar combo looks so cool
That first groove on the Tanzbar is sick! Really feeling it
Viel gelernt, viel gelacht! Danke Martin! :D
Excellent, thank you. That C-15 sounds incredible!
I like hearing this man talk. Danke shoen, Martin.
'Spacenight vol 8 or 9 " WOW, i feel that also, what incredible compilations !!
Explaining the rimshot... Priceless!
Could you imagine being as cool as Stimming? I wanna be him when I grow up!
Absolute GOLD! thxs Stimming.
love the way he reacts to sounds and music!
I clicked and unclicked the like button several times hoping they could stack up more likes. Thank you for imparting wisdom.
Stimming ? Na klar wird angeschaut. Macht einfach Spaß. So sympathisch und angenehm zuzuhören. Like !
This is a really good question and I feel by not getting the frequencies right it removes space from my mix to make it sound 'louder', clearer and more dynamic
Please go ahead and test the new Moog Subharmonicon! Would be nice to hear what Stimming does with it!
Great video !!! Specially for producers he's a master at music production and it's always good to have insites from pro's
every stimming video is awesome, thanks for the insights
you are a leyend, sir. Thanks for the knowledge
He so quirky and funny. lol! I saw him live for the first time in Miami last year. His insight on production technology and music is amazing.
excellent talk and very inspiring shared ideas - herzlichen Dank, weiter so!
Enjoyed this. Thanks for filming & uploading. The pulsar 23..reminds me of the pleasure (and occasional pain) of creating drum & percussion loops on my roland system 100. The advantage here is the much smaller footprint and even more modules! Would love to get my hands on one ✊ Until then, I'll wait for a full on review of the unit. Peace!
So much good advices ! Thanks !
You are my favorite artist, melodica is a work of art
This was amazing, thank you!
I love Stimmings personality and demeanor, no one like him.
Brilliant! Such great information. If everyone put such work into there work it would be a amazing world we would be living in. . Only thing i would say is when you hit a mid price with a product it normally only a matter of taste when you spend more.
Very informative video with couple of hilarious moments. Good work, great guy.
Wonderful video. Seems like a nice guy. Thanks for making this
Thank you Lord Stimming. Amazing as usual.
Gotta love this guy! Thank you!
There aren’t that many people that I can listen to for more then 1 hour, but in this case... I was kind of disappointed that this video stopped 😂

I can't listen to him for over 2 minutes. And I was even skipping through the video. Truly unimpressive and dull, both the dude and the music. When he played his bass line to demonstrate levels, I literally yawned.

Sehr inspirierend! Richtig gut.
Yes, I'd love to see you review the Pulsar.
Thank you professor Stimming!
And that MFB-Tanzbär is a killer! soo good sounding! - and i like the C-15 as well
Learning/doing something small every day is great advice. In my experience an hour a day is far more useful than one seven hour session a week, especially when you're just starting out. Enjoyed this immensely. Thanks to Stimming and TEB.
He's in a great place creatively. I like.
Lieber Stimming, du machst wundervolle Musik. Du bist mein großes Vorbild😍😎 Grüße ✌🏻
Gracias Stimming. You are nuts. No doubt. But god bless your sounds. Your keyboard skills are gorgeous. Your music is unique and delicious. Peace.
Thank you for the great talk !
this was pretty funny AND educational. good video!
A man after my own heart...
