A lightweight option for men’s pants are golf pants. My husband loved them in Italy. They don’t wrinkle and are made for lots of walking in the heat. We got them at Academy Sports and Belks. I also wash clothes when I take a shower!

79 yes old. 4 spinner wheels on underseat luggage.....works well 4 me. I use the handle, bag as a cane assist, and it really helps. The 2 wheel bag is too heavy on my arm and shoulder. Can't reach up to overhead, so the underseat is how I manage to travel independently. G.

Lipault 22” , 2 wheels with a strap to tie the side-handle to a more compact shape. I had it for 3 years, 10 long haul trips. No need to check it in. Love it! Light weight net 4+ pounds. Beautiful color, I got the plum (purple). I swear by it. Just bought a day bag that can slide on the handle.

The idea that sold me on Scrubba bags was the realisation that I always carry plastic bags for my dirty clothes and this is something that seals them (and the smell) off from the rest of my bag. I'm also a big believer in collaborating with your travel buddy so you don't double up on anything - so I could carry the Scrubba and they could carry most of the toiletries or something

I'd love to pack just one backpack but I bring my pillow everywhere. Also, we are budget travellers and end up with tent, sleeping matts etc for o/s travels...

Love your videos Sarah! I look forward to your having enough time to look into an affordable mic - I listen on the Metro and have to turn everything up and wear noise-cancelling headphone over earbuds to hear. 😂

The scrubba wash bag is no use if you have a sink, shower, or bathtub available. I could see it being useful for camping. I am speaking from experience, I bought a scrubba bag for $50+ on an international trip. I donated it afterwards because it just isn't necessary. PS: Just have to add try Rothy's women's shoes for everyday and travel! They are light, machine washable, and go up to size 13. I love mine!!!!!

I looove my scrubba bag! They make one for lingerie that is lightweight Keeps my delicates out of possibly questionably dirty sinks AND keeps my hands from getting water damaged. Also good way to keep kid’s spit up quarantined as it doubles as a wet bag when on the move . Looovvee my scrubba! Everyone’s travel lifestyle is different. I was traveling with a toddler and twin babies so there was a lot of little laundry. Missing travel during this pandemic!

I agree that everyone’s travel needs are different, but after hearing the praises of the Scrubba bag, I really thought about getting one. Then I thought, “why?” I’ve been fine washing in the hotel sink, so it just seems like one more thing to carry. Thank you for confirming that for many of us, it’s just that…One more thing.

The best travel hack for a bad back is to strengthen your core. There IS no ideal bag solution for a bad back - I speak from experience, you will be in pain either way for different reasons. UNLESS you support your back and you do that by improving your core (and NO I'm not talking about sit-ups, you want Pilates, yoga and resistance exercises).

In your "Packing Light" video, you put your shoes in a vacuum packing shoe bag that seemed to activate when you zipped it up. I have not been able to find this. What is the name of the product and where can I get it?

I'm not a dress person but a lot of (women) seasoned travelers swear by them and I'm coming around (dresses to me imply swishy and feminine 😝 but I'm realising in the past few years that not all dresses are the same)
