In January 2008, Army Cpl. Taylor Harter was clearing IEDs in Arab Jabour, Iraq, as a combat engineer with the 3rd Infantry Division, when his vehicle struck one buried in the road. A massive explosion ensued and Taylor was left with serious injuries. A Soldier's Journey Home is proud to select Taylor as our 2023 home recipient.
