Asics does exactly the same thing with their football ⚽ boots. Asics football ⚽ boots are also excellent.....and they also don't sell them outside Asia 🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷

I've been living in Japan for 17 years. I played in the GEL-BURST 25 SE and they absolute BEASTS on court. I highly recommend you get your hands on the UNPRE ARS. I play in the Ballaholic special edition and they are unbelievable.

No, the series like gelhoop, glide nova, Gelburst, Nova Surge, Nova flow, Unpre Ars of Asics are all Basketball shoes The Volleyball shoes are Asics Sky Elite, Netburner Ballistic, V-Swift, Metarise

They just make great shoes, period. I'm going to try their soccer shoes as it's my sport.

I have flyte foam on my gel nimbus and gel cumulus, they do provide a well cushioned feel, although perhaps not to the liking of all runners. i agree, asics should expand their reach in the north american market. they also make good soccer cleats, also unavailable perhaps outside of Japan alone.

Considering Asics Is Bringing Their Skateboarding Shoes To The U.S. Which Was Surprising News, Maybe There Is A Chance Of Their Basketball Shoes Coming Here As Well. Maybe After The Slam Dunk Movie Or Something lol

Ever since playing volleyball in Asics's top end vb shoes I've always been curious about their basketball shoes. You should check out the Asics Gel Hoop series if you get the chance, super clean model

After announcing your are becoming a father, you are really letting yourself go. This has to be the grand daddy of all dad shoes, I'm crying here seeing this. I'm gonna hug my kids a little tighter than usual tonight and tell them I love them just as dearly despite no being able to afford these shoes.

Asics bball shoes are amazing. Wish they would expand to NA market.

I've been hooping with the Gel Burst 26 Low, and the shoe was absolutely THE best hoop shoe I've ever worn. Having that high expectation, I tried 27 as well, but I kinda didn't like it cuz it's a little bit more flexible than 26 Low. As a big man, shoe being more flexible means less support, so I personally still prefer 26. But still a great shoe! I'm planning to try Novasurge Low next time.

Hey man thank you!! The Move insoles work very well for my flat feet, so would highly recommend it to add some extra support and swap out the cheap & thin insoles on some shoes.

Tommy, does your foot move forward at all when stopping hard on a dime? I think I've got a half size too big because my foot slips forward just a tiny bit when stopping hard. I went TTS but might need to go half a size down

Thabks for all of your great reviews! I know you said rhey were wide foot friendly but could you tell me if they are wide in the toebox/forefoot specifically. I'm on the hunt for something low to the ground with a really wide toe area and was thinking of trying these in an extra wide. Would love to hear any other suggestions you might have too

🙏 These do have a wide toe box - so I think you’re good to go, probably won’t even need the extra wide versions unless you’re a 2E or 4E but they should have those options too.

@@TommyLiu4 Thanks so much for replying! Sounds good. I do often go for a 2 or 4E if I can to get that toe box width. Most shoes kill my pinky toe. Someone times the wide sizes just add vertical volume or to places I don't need it though so it can be hit or miss. Any other thoughts for widest specifically around the pinky toe and still low to the ground? I really love your best wide shoe videos and shorts btw.

@@jackc5444 for me because i have thick and wide foot and a heavy guard. its a matter of preference. kobe 9 is so low to the ground, too narrow toe box too would hurt my knees and ankles if i played extended time. maybe If im kobe bryant or kyrie i'll probably rank kobe 9 higher.

have you tried the asics unpre ars? i wonder if they are good, because some people say the cushion feels stiffer than the gelbrust and nova surge

They do make half sizes above 10, they just don't make 10.5 for whatever reason. They make 11.5 for sure though.

Hello! Its me again 😂, i need your help for reference. I bought US 8.5 AC11 and i had issues with the midfoot being very tight although the toe box is fine. I love the shoes colour but the cushioning set up is really uncomfortable for me as i have flat feet. How does this shoes feel overall compared to ac11 cushion? And should i get the same size?

Hi. Oh I see, I’ve had a different experience cause the All City 11 is really comfortable for my super flat feet. Cushion on the Gelburst 27 is decent and particularly soft in the heel, it’s more low to the ground & overall I’d say it’s a better shoe than the All City 11.

So since you had to essentially go down half and they fit you well, wouldnt half down be the move if you are a half size? I know you said TTS, but since they are not readily available in NA, I'd rather not have to deal with returning/exchanging. I'm a US 8.5M by the way and went TTS in the Nova Surge Low.

Good point, I think for you that’s not an issue and TTS would still be the best option since they do have a size 8.5. For me I had no choice, but if it’s purely up to my personal preference I still wish they had a 10.5 so I could have just a bit more room inside. Unless you have really narrow feet, true to size should be good 😃

Nova Surge Low’s outsole is more outdoor-friendly, otherwise they’re pretty much equally as good for indoor use.

Better than the JB 1 with its traction, fit and containment. Same level as the 808 3 to me, probably my personal favorite shoe of the year and pair that I wore the most often 😃

Ummm, that’s super close maybe TWO WXY V3 takes a slight edge but I really love them equally as much.

Nova Surge Low is probably more durable for outdoor use. Otherwise for indoors, they’re pretty much equally as good.

Asics gelhoop v15 is the better in my opinion

These look good for volleyball as actual volleyball shoes are not very comfortable.
