Sorry to be that guy, but I think you did a tour of Europe instead of just the Netherlands? Because Trier is in Germany, Bruges and Brussels are in Belgium, and Luxembourg is, well, in Luxembourg! But they're all neighbouring countries of the Netherlands and it's been over a decade so ehh...

I’ve been using it for the last 3 months and I love it. The best tennis shoes I’ve ever used on court. When I bought it I also tried the FF3, but it didn’t give me the same lateral stability.

Court FF3 feels more comfy just wearing them but Gel Res 9 performs way better on court

For anyone looking for laces for these, I got Delele oval shoe laces 55” to use a runners knot for these and they felt way better than the ones they come with.

The ladies version (grey/silver logo) looks so much better. Idk silver or chrome accents have become a female favorite not color variation on most sneakers. It’s a shame.

i hope the toe guard on these are better than the court ff3s. i feel like the ff3s had great technology, but i have never had a shoe grind out its to guard so fast. just a month. i think whatever material they are using on these, its great for sliding but causes it to wear out faster.

My PT told me these were responsible for my shin splints 😢. Never had them before until I started wearing them.

Too small shoes can cause that

Lacking in vitamins also can cause that.

These actually resolved my shin splints, after encountering them a fair bit with the gel challenger ones. One thing I figured with shin splints is that I could tie my shoes tight to a point where moving the foot up and down required significantly more effort than if the laces were 10% looser. Maybe try tying them just tight enough, for mine I ended up buying new (longer) bubble style laces and I am using the runners knot - haven’t had issues with shin splints since that. Hope my experience in the last 3-4 months helps you a lil bit, because it is the worst and most annoying pain :)

No Definetly not. I own a pair and they are amazing on court by far my favorite pair of tennis shoes. But they are stiff so court comfy not everyday comfy

Those laces are like that for a reason, so they don’t get undone. The thicker ones tend to get undone Einstein 😂

You don't need any thicker laces. They already have too much torque to tighten. Mine have never broken after 7 years of wearing Asics. They still don't fit in the insole arch. I can see them loose on your foot in that area, and you have a thick foot. That is not good. This brand is not made anatomically to the human foot. Improving a little bit each model, but not there yet. Seems like a computer generated design to eliminate any humans building the shoe.
