ASIAN Foodie trying AFRICAN (Ghanaian) Food for the FIRST TIME!
It is extremely hard to find a Ghanaian restaurant in Los Angeles, but after much scouting in the area, I’ve finally found a restaurant that serves Ghanaian food!!! This is a very rare chance to try a cuisine from so far away! You don’t want to miss the chance to see me explore Ghanian food for the first time, some of the dishes were simply amazing and to die for. Definitely worth a try! Check out Airport Royal Cuisine for chance to taste the flavors of Ghana!

Fun fact: Jollof rice is a dish from Senegal and became widespread in West African countries like Gambia, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ghana, Nigeria, and even Cameroon. we can't compare Ghana's to Jollof that of Nigeria's because both countries prepare them differently and vice versa.

It's safe to say jollof is proudly West African cuisine.
I’m Ghanaian but the peanut butter soup is too thick. When it’s thick like that, we eat it with rice balls instead of fufu. It delicious, nonetheless.

It was the Yellof people of Senegal who make the best "jellof" theycall it. I cannot wait to taste the original. However , I love Ghanaian Jollof over Nigerian Jollof any day. I feel Nigerians add too many spices and cook with short rice or basmati that sometimes make it look dry. At the end of the day the taste depends on the cook , the cooking process and the spices added.
Good 👍👍👍👍

I'm Afrikan myself but I hate eating stew with my fingers. Afrikans and south Asians can never develop past eating with their fingers. They don't look authentic Ghanaian dishes but looks as such.. Groundnut soup with Fufu should be light. Okro stew with banku must be slimy else you are not selling the authentic Ghanaian dishes 1st 5 mins turned me off and never watched the rest.
