Not a "safe" choice, but rather someone who could engage and keep up with his daughter. End of the day, can't help notice Viet dad chose the Viet guy! Aww man, I miss my late father now. 😢

She works as part of the nightlife so she needs someone who can understand it. Also Viet people are generally a lot more open (like too much) then other Asians. He wouldn't have been my choice for someone in my family but for her it seems correct.
