It's nothing to do with carbon emissions. We need more carbon emissions, not less. It's because of deforestation and development. This can only be fixed by undoing all the "progress" that mankind believes it has made. That means getting rid of all modern technology, concrete, glass, steel, everything. We have to go back in time and live the way we lived thousands of years ago if want to survive long-term on this planet.

Most parts of Indonesia does NOT get affected by the heatwave, why? Because Indonesia still have natural forests and mountains that protect the surrounding regions with fresh and cool air. Moreover, Indonesia does NOT have too many high rise buildings with too many airconds that can worsen greenhouse effect. Preserving nature in pristine condition will protect a country from heatwave.

@@DevSarman ocean cooling effect NOT contribute much, because Philippines is also surrounded by ocean, but they get affected. Only natural forests with abundant high rise trees and mountains cool down very much in most parts of Indonesia. Other countries that have metropolitan cities have most of their high rise trees chopped down every day and converted to high rise buildings with more than thousands of airconds, then combined with deforestation, all of them worsened heatwave very much. For your evidence, you can go to Cameron highland or Genting highland. In the midway near that place, you will feel the air is much cooler and fresher than the air in the city center.

Seriously I remember growing up around 2000 and visiting Alabama’s indian mounds. I wish my teacher gave me more water cause I literally wen’t from “please give me water” to “get me out of the sun” and completely passed out and the EMS said I was extremely close to heat stroke. So yeah, tell adults when you can. ❤

It has NEVER been this HOT in Thailand, or at least in Chiang Mai Thailand for such an extended period of time. Governments need to begin acting soon to put in place affordable strategies to prepare for the higher temperatures which surely will be seen in this decade. There are proven strategies for cooling cities and minimizing heat-island effects, for example. It's HOT, Guys! Hot, I say.....

This heatwave is bad... Last year florida had 8 day heatwave .. 37c feal feel 48 with rain afternon 🌧..many day's. But 1 day was 39c real feel 50°c in tampa 0mph wind.. Which is not normal . + word record ocean temp 39c. In gulf if mexico to miami. (USA uses Fahrenheit so not many people realise how hot florida and texas get in summer with humidity) I wonder if the wind in asia helps take the edge off the unbearable humidity unlike florida every afternoon in august.. Wind 0 mph sometime for 5 hrs nothing moves.. just extremely humid and burning hot I saw that bangkok had a some wind most days.. Whereas in tampa orlando florida many pray for a 3 mph breeze in afternoon all july and august

the heat's damage is no joke. Electric bill goes higher if u don't turn on ur fan 24/7 you're gonna die. And water bill too because it's too hot u sweat nonstop so u go shower again and again. Laundry piles up since u keep changing clothes because of sweat. Air is so hot everything makes u angry house is dusty since because of heat everything feels unclean even if u just cleaned it. You feel fat when it's hot. AND EVERYTHING IS THE OPPOSITE IF U HAVE AIR CONDITION.... but what's our choice???? minimum wager's salary only enough to survive. only ge politicians and celebrities are sleeping peacefully in their air conditioned rooms. which is sad for 85% FILIPINOs.
