Ashley Cain and Safiyya Vorajee on Happy Mum Happy Baby: The Podcast | AD
Along with millions of others I followed the life of Azaylia Diamond Cain and my heart was captured by her.
As The Azaylia Foundation launches today Ashley Cain and Safiyya Vorajee join me in celebrating the life of their daughter and share their plans for the future of the charity. This family has shown such strength, yet so much vulnerability too. As expected there are tears, but there is also a lot of laughter as the couple remember happier times.

Azaylia could not have been blessed with better parents. The bravery in sharing their vulnerability, the raw grief, the joy in the time they had, the pure love, the heartbreak, the appreciation for every single small important moment of life. They should be so proud of the difference they've made and will make rising from this unimaginable situation, it is deeply inspiring. Sending them so much love and wishing them every success with the charity 🧡🦁🧡

I haven’t cried more for two strangers then I have watching this podcast. You’re both so strong and amazing. Your babygirl will be so proud
An outstanding episode with two extraordinary people. Azaylea touched the heart of so many and will never be forgotten. Her legacy will live on forever, not only because of her own presence but the love from her parents. X
What phenomenal people. The strength they have shown throughout the whole journey has been incredible. I watched the journey from the start and was immediately touched by it. I have a little boy who was a similar age to Azaylia so it really hit home for me. Ashley and Safiyya, you are so inspirational and should be so proud of everything you've achieved in your beautiful daughters name. RIP Azaylia. Lets go champ!

These two blow me away. Every interview, every story, every post. We are behind you every step of the way. Your daughter is so, so special - look at what she is achieving!! Love, pure love, to you all x
They are just so unbelievably brave. They oooze good feelings, I had no idea who they were until I saw Ashley on the news talking about bone marrow donors, Then I started to follow their story and I felt so attached to them, I cared about them as a family, I still do. Azaylia was- and is, so loved by so many people, not just those who knew her, but by so many of us who took her to our hearts. I didn't know whether I could watch this, as I get so emotional watching them, but what a beautiful interview. What a gorgeous lovely family. I wish them all the love and luck in the world in the future. Azaylia will live on forever in so many hearts.
I really miss judged these, tik tok was full of videos and I thought they should be kept private , but I am so ashamed , I totally understand there passion for their child and I am so sorry I sat in my living room judging this family. What special parents you are xxxx

😢 watching this coming up to azaylias anniversary and they are so strong and amazing humans breaks my heart
Wow. This made me want to cherish my two year old boy even more. I have sucked in the way where I have let my depression stress and all negative emotions get the best Of me and not tried to hide them because I’ve been so depressed. Hearing there story has gave me so much strength to want to be stronger for my beautiful boy and be stronger than my emotions and make sure he knows he’s the light of my life always.❤️

I can’t even pretend to try and understand your pain. I can only imagine and even at that I bet it’s nothing compared. But that little angel had a purpose in her special beautiful life and she served that purpose and were all so thankful to her and your beautiful family. The awareness she raised is just off the wall. Incredible beautiful family. So much love for you both and your special gorgeous baby ❤️❤️❤️

Azaylia along with Saf and Ashley are 3 of the most inspirational humans I’ve ever seen. The sadness in Saf and Ashley’s face is heartbreaking but seeing them talk so proudly about Azaylia and the Azaylia foundation is just so beautiful. I honestly can’t imagine how that must feel. I’m so ready to support The Azaylia Foundation and all of the other families that are going through what you’ve had to go through. 💔💔💔

Two of the most amazing people. Grief is like free falling without a parachute. Their strength is incredible. You can see where Azaylia got hers from. Ashley and the A team are beyond inspirational. These are my hero’s! Absolutely incredible
They are so brave to talk about their lovely girl it must have been so difficult my heart goes out to them x
This collab must have been so hard to do - like the rest of their journey so far with Azaylia. Can’t imagine what they’ve been going through & moving forward. Stumbled upon their accounts during lockdown too like many others. What they are doing with Azaylia’s Foundation is such a positive from all this. May the universe keep giving them the strength & courage to find positivity out of all this trauma 🙏🏾🧡🖤 It was their story that made me donate blood for the first time as I just didn’t know enough about it.

Overwhelming how beautiful their love is, and Giovanna amazing, Rest in paradise Azaylia xxx
My son was 7 month old when he died from a brain tumour. I feel for Azaylia parents as I too was told his symptoms were linked to a virus by numerous health care workers, until it hit me like a truck that he actually had a brain tumour. It rips you apart and nobody thinks its cancer until it is cancer. Funding is so crap for brain tumours its not even highlighted enough and neither of the symptoms AT/RT cancers need more funding and better treatments!

Gonna be a long time until that happens.. if they weren’t frauds and desperate for attention, they’d have kids by now. Both with someone else as they’ve split.
Best parents ever!
Your both amazing and so brave xx
Wow, incredible
Incredible beautiful people 🧡
Such a strong and amazing couple. I feel for you. I think one of the biggest problems that parents have to fight to be seen by the right people/ specialist. CHILDREN from birth to their teens should be seen by a pediatrician. Most countries have this system why not the UK. GPs aren't trained enough in this area. My son got misdiagnosed for over year, causing more damage which could have been prevented if we would have seen the right doctors right away when we raised concerns. I had to Google specialist and pay to been seen privately to finally get a diagnose and the right medication.
I agree my son had mitochondrial disease he had so many problems they said were normal Baby things so they never investigated. We had to push and they should of taking a blood test sooner as we went to a&e for the 5th time they took bloods he had high lactate and that was unusual. They need to take parents more seriously and listen to us. He then had two months to live as it was progressive and there’s no cure, we had to watch him die and he passed at 8 months old. I can relate to everything you say! I’ve been through something similar at the same time. So glad your talking about it, it helps me greatly! Xx
Amazing parents WOW
Let’s Go Champ! 🧡
